I am confused. "Most have 4 assistants with a DOBO" (I am guessing you mean 3 assistant coaches and a DOBO that total 4)? Then a Volunteer assistant(s) and a support staff?

What am I missing because I don't believe that's accurate or allowed (it does change for next year).

Go take a look at some P5 schools. Most of them list a head coach and 3 assistant coaches. Here is a link to Florida coaches staff

In fact I know SB is a great, not good, but great WSU baseball fan. I'm just curious what I'm missing, or if there's another agenda at play. SB's a better fan than almost anyone on this board. Doesn't make him right or wrong. Like I said, I am just curious what I'm missing.

My question (on how many Coaches)was legitimate and he made it personal by intimating it was not thought out. We always have had five paid coaches (one is called volunteer but is still a paid position). If we get an extra Asst. Coach, that’d be great.

Those are NCAA tournament numbers every single year, if all other facets of the game are firing.

With a roster that needed just a little more depth (and he had that coming in too).

And that's not his ceiling.

What would a different pitching coach do better?

Claggett has been his PC at both NMSU and Wazzou, and the teams have not had much success pitching the ball.
