That is Dr. Einstein to you. I am glad you recognize my mental superiority to you.

And again, as always you are wrong. Go look at P5 coaching staffs - most all have 4 assistants with DOBO, volunteer assistants and a large support staff.
Your question to me was whether I'd listened to the press conference. I did and I proved it to you. My question earlier is "how did the number of coaches change because they've always had five. Had you answered my question rather than being a "POOP Head", you could have pointed out what you just did above.

I am confused. "Most have 4 assistants with a DOBO" (I am guessing you mean 3 assistant coaches and a DOBO that total 4)? Then a Volunteer assistant(s) and a support staff?

What am I missing because I don't believe that's accurate or allowed (it does change for next year).

Arkansas has a paid head coach, 2 paid assistants and 1 unpaid volunteer coach. That's all you've been allowed.

The DOBO is not allowed to coach. Arkansas lists a DOBO, an Admin assistant and 5 support staff that cover training, strength and conditioning, video and analytics, scouting and equipment. None of these staff are allowed to coach.

I don't know anyone that has 4 assistants. I don't anyone that has 3 paid assistants (and yes, there are ways that the unpaid guy will get paid).

If it were me, I'd rather pay (cash or tuition) for the equipment, analytics, video, scout, strength, conditioning, recruiting coordinator and nutrition before I'd pay for a new coach, but that's me.

My understanding is next season you'll have the ability to have a paid head coach and 3 paid assistants but lose the volunteer position. Coach Green will have 3 paid assistant coaches.

The other support staff we can't afford without substantial monetary infusion.

Coach Green's contract offer is up and here's a direct link to it - https://www.wichita.edu/about/public...h-contract.pdf
        • 5 year contract worth $1,965,000. Base salary of $375,000 the first year and it goes up $10,000 the next 3 years. Year 5 the pay is the same as year 4 ($405,000).
        • Plenty of other compensation and incentives listed on page 2. Receives $40K to make it to Omaha and another $100K if national champs.
        • Looks like Wichita State will pay up to $75,000 of his buyout from Washington State, but if Green leaves within the next couple years he has to reimburse Wichita State for the amount.
        • Termination penalties on page 4 - will get paid 75% of his remaining pay if Wichita State lets him go without cause, and various amounts if Green terminates the contract ($1 million his first year to $100K his 5th year)

You mean SB Shock is an idiot that doesn’t know what he’s talking about? He says he’s “the smartest man on the room”.

No. Anyone not knowing everything about anything does not make anyone an idiot.

However, some of his statements may make him a misinformed braggart.

"Name calling", by anyone, is generally a "poor look" that reduces the value of any statement, true or not.

In fact I know SB is a great, not good, but great WSU baseball fan. I'm just curious what I'm missing, or if there's another agenda at play. SB's a better fan than almost anyone on this board. Doesn't make him right or wrong. Like I said, I am just curious what I'm missing.

Good for him. Back closer to home and probably an upgrade if I am being honest.

                          • My pleasure! Just following along out of curiosity. My son played for Green for 3 years at Washington State.

                              • So Green made $315k at WaSU? Based on the higher cost of living there, it is like making $285k here. Basically he is getting a $100k a year raise to come here. Wonder if they offered him anything to stay?
