Norfolk State 1 William & Mary 34 (Williamsburg, VA) Somehow W&M scored 34 (went the full 9) on only 14 hits.

Edit: Norfolk State pitching WALKED 20 and HIT TEN MORE!!!!! Mix in 4 errors, a passed ball, catcher's interference and a few wild pitches and 34 doesn't seem like all that high a number. W&M also scored 33 earlier in the season vs Marist.

Samford 5 UAB 9 (Jerry D. Young Memorial Field, Birmingham, AL)

Kansas 4 Charleston Southern 12 (North Charleston, SC) If we don't beat these worthless ****ers by 100 next time.......

UMass 3 Gardner-Webb 4 F/12 (Boiling Springs, NC) UMass took a lead in the top of the 12th 3-2 but GW walked them off in the bottom of the frame.

Princeton 5 Cincinnati 1 (Cleveland S. Harley Baseball Stadium, Spartanburg, SC) Suspended-not sure if this game will ever finish or just start over.

Kansas 3 The Citadel 4 (Charleston, SC)

Kansas 2 The Citadel 3 (Charleston, SC)

UMass 1 Penn 0 (Philadelphia, PA)

Oakland 13 Youngstown State 10 (Niles, OH) Game 1

Oakland 5 Youngstown State 2 (Niles, OH) Game 2

Saint Thomas 2 ORU 10 (J. L. Johnson Stadium, Tulsa, OK)

Dartmouth 1 UCF 16 (John Euliano Park, Orlando, FL)

Rice 8 UAB 1 (Jerry D. Young Memorial Field, Birmingham, AL)

Missouri State 0 East Carolina 3 (Lewis Field at Clark-LeClair Stadium, Greenville, NC)

Army 7 USF 8 (USF Baseball Stadium, Tampa, FL)

Kennesaw State 5 Stetson 6 (Deland, FL)

FAU 2 UTSA 8 (Roadrunner Field, San Antonio, TX) UTSA is 16-3.

Charlotte 1 Louisiana Tech 2 (Rustin, LA)

Columbia 7 Tulane 3 (Greer Field at Turchin Stadium, New Orleans, LA)

Memphis 4 Southeastern Louisiana 3 (Hammond, LA)

#18 TCU 13 Oklahoma 5 (L. Dale Mitchell Baseball Park, Norman, OK)

Houston 3 Minnesota 2 (Minneapolis, MN)

Oklahoma State 7 Texas Tech 8 (Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park, Lubbock, TX) The Pokes threw this game away late after leading 7-1.

Kansas State 8 Baylor 1 (Baylor Ballpark, Waco, TX)

New Mexico State 2 Utah Tech 4 (St. George, UT)

Long Beach State 5 UC-San Diego 6 (La Jolla, CA) With the score 5-2 in the bottom of the 9th UCSD gets 1 and have a runner on 3rd with 2 outs. LBSU pitcher threw a great 3-2 pitch on the corner that the ump let go. 1st and 3rd now, still 2 outs, still 3-5. Ground ball will end the game but there is a broken bat believe it or not and the ball bounces off the pitcher's foot and everyone is safe. 5-4 and runners on 1st and 2nd. They look at it (why I'm not sure) and the call stands. 2-2 and a fly to shallow will end it but there's no communication and the ball falls between the shortstop and the centerfielder. Tying run comes in and for some reason, they throw the ball to 2nd base and the runner from 1st comes all the way around to score. Ballgame. Unreal.

I'm kind of stunned at the lack of pitching around the nation. The number of games where 20 runs are scored seems awfully high.

Georgia, 0-5 entering the day in conference play, led Auburn 8-7 going into the 8th. They plated 16 and run ruled the Tigers 24-7.

I counted at least 8 different teams that scored 20 or more runs today, and at least a dozen (maybe 15-20) more that scored 15-19. Most of these are conference games now, and it's only Saturday so you shouldn't be out of pitching just yet.

UTA 9 Houston 18 (Schroeder Park, Houston, TX) Houston trailed 8-9 going into the bottom of the 6th.

George Mason 0 #10 ECU 5 F/8 (Clark-LeClair Stadium, Greenville, NC) Guessing there was a drop dead time they hit.

Eastern Michigan 7 Oakland 5 (Rochester, MI) The Grizzlies are looking forward to playing their 1st game at home this season.

Albany 2 UMass 8 (Amherst, MA) The Minutemen also will look forward to their 1st game at home.

#13 Oklahoma State 0 Dallas Baptist 8 (Dallas, TX) Probably should mix in DBU in the schedule, especially since continuing to play OU seems unlikely.

Kansas State 12 Air Force 9 (Colorado Springs, CO)

Oral Roberts 4 Missouri State 0 (Hammonds Field, Springfield, MO) ORU is good.

Cal Baptist 2 Long Beach State 3 (Blair Field, Long Beach, CA)
