Get him some counseling and get him back to Wichita.

Source says Chris Jans was "inappropriate and aggressive" at bar. BGSU fired Jans for "public conduct" on Thursday http://www.foxsports.com/ohio/story/bowling-green-head-coach-chris-jans-fired-040215 …

A person involved in the incident told FOXSportsOhio.com that Jans acted "aggressively and inappropriately" toward at least one female bar patron on the night of March 21.
Jans was asked to leave after a woman slapped him, the source said. At least one of his assistant coaches was involved in getting Jans out of the bar.

1) The school probably doesn't want its head men's basketball coach drunk(allegedly) at a bar.
2) The school probably doesn't want its head men's basketball coach drunk at a bar AND hitting on/harassing women.
I honestly don't blame Bowling Green for doing what they did. Now can he be forgiven, yes, but actions come with consequences.

Have you seen him on the bench at one of our games? :)
You wouldn't be "surprised" to get fired if you did something insanely bad, right?

Sounds a little ridiculous honestly. I mean even if he did some how inappropriately touch the female, such as grabbing her butt or something, and subsequently got slapped and kicked out of the bar. That is not an extreme situation, he got drunk and did something stupid, but it is a bar and the situation was handled. I mean for an incident like that I could even see something like a public reprimand or something, but termination if this is a one time thing? I just don't think Bowling Green likes to win.
