BGSU loses. NIT is probably out of the question but the CBI and CIT are probably available if Jans wants to go that route. Regardless it this is the end of the season or not, it was a great first year for Coach Jans. Hopefully the NCAA tournament is in his future.

I would guess the first of a long string of 20+ win seasons - a nice marker out of the box . . .

I am sure they take a post season bid just to get the extra practice time in for next year.

          BGSU accepts CIT bid.

In his first season, Jans completely turns around a program that went 12-20 last season.

Jans .645 winning percentage already ranks forth highest out of the sixteen coaches BGSU has had since they started playing basketball in 1915.

Jans should have been MAC COY.

Appears the WSU-bias has carried over with HCCJ to the MAC!

                  Chris Jans out at BGSU?

Seeing reports on Twitter that Jans is being fired following investigation into his public conduct.

                  Anybody know more?

Jans Being Fired at Bowling Green

No link or specific details yet, but SI's Pete Thamel looks to have reported it on Twitter. Said it had to do with investigations into his public conduct.

No, Bruce mentioned right at the end of the Sports Daily radio show. No details.

                                Very sad news if true.
