    • And was this female well connected or well known. My guess is yes

Yeah I'm with you guys on this, seems like a overreaction (albeit without seeing the video) by Bowling Green. Makes me wonder if the university has some sort of history which forces its hand to a no tolerance policy with its officials/staff? I don't have the time to look it up, but I do wonder... Marshall's getting the big bucks, but I hope he dives into the situation and gives CJ a second chance if BG overreacted.

        • But you guys are forgetting. Assistant coaches were there. What if this girl was was a member of this team staff or something similar. What if those assistant coaches aren't vouching for him

          • So he was assaulted!

I there is a Video and she slapped him aka "assaulted" him. She should be brought up on charges IMO. Equality and all...

              • 1) The school probably doesn't want its head men's basketball coach drunk(allegedly) at a bar.
                2) The school probably doesn't want its head men's basketball coach drunk at a bar AND hitting on/harassing women.

I honestly don't blame Bowling Green for doing what they did. Now can he be forgiven, yes, but actions come with consequences.

Have you seen him on the bench at one of our games? :)

You wouldn't be "surprised" to get fired if you did something insanely bad, right?
Exactly. Larry Eustachy prob wasn't surprised to hear he got canned; IF he was surprised, it may be an incident that is tolerable for a return to Wichita.

Or another question is was she well endowed or well enhanced? My guess is yes.

                    • Sounds a little ridiculous honestly. I mean even if he did some how inappropriately touch the female, such as grabbing her butt or something, and subsequently got slapped and kicked out of the bar. That is not an extreme situation, he got drunk and did something stupid, but it is a bar and the situation was handled. I mean for an incident like that I could even see something like a public reprimand or something, but termination if this is a one time thing? I just don't think Bowling Green likes to win.

Yes. Think 20 years of Randy Smithson coaching Sean Ogirri.
