I must say, when early in the season I told myself "Nah, they won't finish as strong as they look" I had no idea it would be this bad. I was rooting for their demise as in falling from #10ish to more like #30ish, just outside the rankings while WSU passes them...just like it happened. Now, this.
There are not a lot of things about college basketball that I dislike more than finding out a player is a rapist. I can even handle finding out KU players do drugs and give it to minors. And that is bad. Or finding out players are getting away with paper classes. That's bad, too. But this kind of thing is the worst. Losing him to the ACL injury made me feel bad because I didn't want to predict they would struggle and have it happen that way. I wanted them to just drop some games and give me scoreboard rights once again. But this is the kind of thing that has nothing to do with basketball and it gives everyone pause, like "I was just a fan of someone, raising my hands up and screaming support for someone, and taking pride in someone who will now go to jail for raping a girl...and is apparently trying to flee (basically proving it is real)"

Creighton's 16-17 reminds me a lot of WSU's 07-08, only worse. Top 10 in both cases, and then downhill from there.
EDIT: Realized what I meant was WSU's 06-07.Last edited by SHOCKvalue; February 24, 2017, 02:16 PM.
