They are a cute bunch. It's also a requirement that when you speak of the BIG EAST, you must type it in all caps.

And in other BJ news, Fox Sports 1 has surpassed ESPN as the most watched and deservedly hyped network in history.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

I've noticed that as well. Generated some pretty solids LOLs on my end. When reality doesn't exist, just invent your own, right?

They also have an affinity for hyphenated words ending in "major", and utilizing Iowa State logic in confusing the winning of a 3 day conference tournament with "winning the league."

Really a rather strange bunch, suffering generally from a severe case of reality detachment.

      • But what is reality. Its just one mans illusion as to what he sees to be true, a feeling if you will. Most psychologists will tell you that feelings aren't right or wrong but I am here to tell you that feelings can be back ass ward, delusional or just plain stupid. You can take your pick to as to which one comes closer to cretins view.

Was he injured in Jan and Feb? Or just not an option?
I'm pretty sure he had a similar procedure to the one Cle had to clear some stuff out of his knee(s?). They both have missed significant time due to injuries this year.

Any guesses who the "BIG" time program is?

I recently watched the movie Parallels on Netflix and I'm wondering which Earth that happened in?

Not a bad show! I was sad it ended and there was actually no sequel.

It is a 2015 release so hopefully there will eventually be one. I did a little looking around and apparently that was meant to be a pilot for a TV series but was turned into a full-length film. It has a lot of potential for a TV series. Although the actress who played the Asian woman is also the lead female on "Fresh off the Boat".

Could make sense since he would have paid out of state tuition at Creighton. Just a thought
Just a little clarification, Creighton does not have resident or non-resident tuition rates. They have one rate, it's listed in their literature as "Shitload." I wouldn't pay just shy of $40,000 for my kid to go there. I would, on the other hand, send my kid there if they offered him a scholarship that equaled one shitload.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I am guessing here - but I think CF picks WSU over Creighton if the $$$ are the same. The two MBB programs are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

I'd agree. His mistake was not picking the Shockers in the first place.

I was only correcting the out of state tuition comment. I don't know of any private schools that charge different rates for residents and non residents.

You are a little bit low, Mo John.

$45,258 plus one year of inflation.

Not flunkies, Royal; "flunkees." As in, the teacher is the flunker; the Creighton poster is the flunkee.

Actually an interesting idea, though: maybe Elgin and the MVC should start referring to their own P6, one that includes the usual five plus the Valley. After all, if you can decide for yourself to make up a group like the "P6," shouldn't you also get to decide on your own who's #6?

Meanwhile, the Drunken Jayboys -- is that the name of a garage band somewhere? -- can also start a cheer on behalf of their version: "We're number six! We're number six!"

Seems like in baseball you can get almost anything worked out schedule wise. Not the same "considerations" have to be made.
