Don't be surprised if there isn't a situation like when Darius signed here. Just spur of the moment big time signing from a transfer.

Call me old-time but too much churn in the roster makes me nervous. I'm more receptive to Gregg and the staff developing winners rather than constantly bringing in a lot of guys and sifting for keepers. Certainly not saying Gregg doesn't know best, just that it takes me out of my comfort zone.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

Disinterested in what? Was he being interviewed? A clip of him practicing? What was he doing that he was disinterested in?

That footage was taken after our loss vs Notre Dame.

I think it should be worrisome if we lose guys like SIU lose. Guys that are playmakers, ready to jump to the next level of minutes the next season, or in SIU's case actual minute earners and producers. If we were losing guys like Brown or Shaq that were playing significant minutes for us late in the season I'd be worried. The guys that are transferring are guys that did not receive any minutes during the year in Glass's case, or lose minutes throughout the year down to zero like Holland. Glass never was viewed with high hopes like a Carl Hall or Darius Carter JUCO transfer, and we've recruited a level of guard that is a notch above Holland, at least in my opinion. It's a good move for all parties involved and I've never heard any bad words from any players who leave the program. I think you can calm back into the comfort zone for this year.

Transfers seems to be an integral part of College basketball these days. While you do have the occasional Marcus Marshall's and Marcus Foster's who coaches feel compelled to dismiss based on their actions I think a lot of this movement is a two-way street.

It is not only the coaches that are doing the sifting. Look at all the "quality" Valley players that have left in recent years looking for greener pastures such as Devonte Rice, Nic Moore, Josh Cunningham and Jordan Caroline.

At least at Wichita State most of our transfer outs have been players clearly seeing he writing on the wall and looking for a situation that will reward them more playing time. If you are going to work as hard as these kids work most will want to be at a place where they will get decent playing time.

Pretty sure we going after a big.
                I hope he's a monster.
Conner was a walk on last semester. Surely the sharp shooter will be on scholarship for the next season. Only way we bring in another guy is if the NCAA increases scholarships to 14 or someone else leaves.

Agree, both are relatively high ranked recruits for us. Don't want to send a message to future top 100 recruits that we could send them to Sunrise. Not going to happen.

sorry, I guess I missed it.

Conner will not be on scholarship next year. It pretty much been unofficially confirmed.

Remember The Big Tuna and his thoughts on bottom of the roster churning.

You're right. I didn't catch that when he was talking about Fred and Ron, I thought it was current. Thanks

                            • Still think Frankamp walks on one semester and we sign a big man or sign a transfer

                              • Conner was going to have to walk on whatever team he decided on last year since it was a mid year transfer. Maybe he added it up, WSU was cheaper to walk on for a year and half than it was to walk to Creighton for 1 semester then be on scholarship the next year. Could make sense since he would have paid out of state tuition at Creighton. Just a thought
