I will say this... Trump had the POTENTIAL to be Reagan-esque in his legacy. No doubt about it. But it was his horrible, maldeveloped, almost sinister personality that leaves him all alone in history as the wackiest, wackadoo president of all time. Literally steps on his own wang in a way that will never be duplicated.
I will also say this, I learned a LOT from Trump's presidency; I learned a LOT about today's Republican party. It is no longer my party.
So I wait, along with the Turtle, until a day comes where I can once again show my face in public while proudly proclaiming my conservative party membership.
It's going to take an enlightenment era after Trump that's for sure. Perhaps I end up with the Dems if they have their enlightenment first.
Whichever party stands for responsible government, rule of law, while at the same time celebrating an individual's right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Oh, and one more thing.... THE PARTY THAT ****ING LIVES IN REALITY AND OUTSIDE THE REALM OF CAVEMAN-LIKE CONSPIRATORIAL THINKING.
No one GAF.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Here in Blue state Colorado the Republican party is trying to knit itself back together in an attempt to steer back to relatively moderate candidates which it used to have a lot of, but not sure it can come back from the abyss, partly because MAGA's won't support moderate Republican candidates. You could see this coming almost 15 years ago with the emerging Colorado Tea Party which was extreme in a lot of ways. I live in Lauren Boebert's old district (she moved to the neighboring district which is more rural and conservative and got the MAGA vote to win the Republican nomination even though she was for all intents a carpetbagger ). In my district, the 3rd, a Republican moderate won the primary despite the Democrats partially funding his MAGA opponent and despite opposition from the MAGA head of the Republican party at the time. Remains to be seen if he can overcome the Democratic candidate because the Democrats are throwing the kitchen sink in terms of funding to flip the 3rd district. Obviously the Democrats can play dirty politics themselves running a fairly nasty ad campaign for this seat . Maybe you have to live here to understand how far Left this state has moved over the last 20 years aided and abetted by the Republican party's extremism.

"Extremism?" Hahahahahah...
Who in the f*** thought (and thinks) de-funding the police is a good idea? Or open borders is (Against. The. Law)? Or going 'green' (i.e. equity/electric car mandates) is? Or the 'Inflation Reduction Act' was smart? Or President Trump wants to build internment camps? GTFO, with respect...

Yes, many thx, although NC (Fat Albert anyone?) did forget to mention them/they prancing up and down them Target aisle's for all the cute kids. The very same kids who can get transgender surgeries without parental consent. Mm mm, equity.

Trump keeps floating the idea that Canada should join the United States as the 51st state, saying Tuesday he would not use military force to invade the country.
Canadian leaders say Trump’s talk about Canada becoming the 51st state isn’t funny anymore
“The joke is over,” said LeBlanc. “It’s a way for him, I think, to sow confusion, to agitate people, to create chaos knowing this will never happen.”
Trump keeps floating the idea that Canada should join the United States as the 51st state, saying Tuesday he would not use military force to invade the country, which is home to more than 40 million people and is a founding NATO partner.
Instead, Trump said he would rely on “economic force” as he erroneously cast the U.S. trade deficit with Canada — a natural resource-rich nation that provides the U.S. with commodities like oil — as a subsidy.
“There is no chance of us becoming the 51st state. I think that this is beneath a president of the United States,” Miller said. “I said a few weeks ago that this whole thing was like a South Park episode.”
Trump refused to rule out acquiring Greenland and the Panama Canal by military force and has said the U.S doesn’t need anything from Canada, including automobiles, lumber and dairy products.
“I don’t know who is misinforming him,” Ontario Premier Doug Ford said. “Right now we ship 4.3 million barrels of crude oil into the U.S. 60 percent of their energy imports are coming from Canada.”
The U.S. imports approximately 60% of its crude oil from Canada, with Alberta alone supplying 4.3 million barrels per day. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the U.S. consumes about 20 million barrels a day, while domestically producing about 13.2 million barrels a day. This means about quarter of the oil the U.S. consumes every day is from Canada.
Canada is the top export destination for 36 U.S. states. Nearly $3.6 billion Canadian (US$2.7 billion) worth of goods and services cross the border each day.
What an absolute facking maroon. Thank Jebus I didn't vote for him. Imagine having the fact that you voted for an imbecile weighing on your conscience every night when you went to bed.
Don't bring up Kamala. Don't bring up Kamala. Don't bring up Kamala. Don't bring up Kamala.

Canada is charging us Tariffs every time they send us oil, and other such trade. That’s how they take advantage of America. That’s what reciprocal trade is all about.
