If no one believes anything Trump says, then why does everyone get all hot and bothered when he trolls little Fidel about Canada being US's 51st state? I think it's dumb for him to say it, but I also think it's funny.

The only people who don't, are insufferable pearl clutchers who have been brainwashed into believing he's some sort of anti-christ, but then at the same time think he couldn't organize a family trip to the grocery store.

And with Greenland, why can't the US exert some influence? We already have bases there, I believe. We defended it in WW2. The citizens there are keen on sovereignty from Denmark. Why shouldn't we annex it, if the parties agree? No one believes we are going to invade it with Marines. Good grief.

If Trump gets the murderer and his slaves out of Ukraine and returns Ukraine's land back to Ukrainians, I will be the first to applaud the outcome. But that's not going to happen is it. You already know where Putin parks his "little flesh boat". This is why your tone is soft on the issue. You've already begun the mental gymnastics as you await your marching orders from Faux Reality News Network. Don't worry, they've got something "good" cooked up for you. Hannity, Ingraham, Waters, Gutfeld (had to Google the current Faux stars) will help you maintain the delusion, if you'll only let them.

But here's something you may have not yet considered. If this does happen in Ukraine, do you know what that says about, "Russia! Russia! Russia!?

WASHINGTON/NEW DELHI/LONDON, Jan 10 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden's administration imposed its broadest package of sanctions so far targeting Russia's oil and gas revenues on Friday, in an effort to give Kyiv and Donald Trump's incoming team leverage to reach a deal for peace in Ukraine.
The move is meant to cut Russia's revenues for continuing the war in Ukraine that has killed more than 12,300 civilians and reduced cities to rubble since Moscow invaded in February, 2022.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in a post on X that the measures announced on Friday will "deliver a significant blow" to Moscow. "The less revenue Russia earns from oil ... the sooner peace will be restored," Zelenskiy added.
Daleep Singh, a top White House economic and national security adviser, said in a statement that the measures were the "most significant sanctions yet on Russia’s energy sector, by far the largest source of revenue for (President Vladimir) Putin’s war".

NATO has taken over air defenses in Poland from the US just days before the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, according to a NATO spokesman, with questions looming about the incoming administration’s approach to the alliance and to Ukraine.

NATO assumed command and control from the US on Thursday, said Col. Martin O’Donnell, and will help to safeguard logistics nodes in Poland that are needed to continue delivering aid crucial to Ukraine’s war effort against Russia. The move is part of a broader effort that has been in the works for months to shift the burden of helping Ukraine from the US to European countries, amid questions over whether US support would continue under the Trump administration.

NATO allies have been bracing for US support for Ukraine to shrink over the next year. Trump has questioned the value of aid to Ukraine and the US commitment to NATO, and while he has said he wants to end the war he has not yet weighed in on whether his administration will continue providing military assistance to Ukraine.
