By the way, noticing that you were a PoliSci major explains your apparent blind spot for finance. You seem to prefer candidates who eschew fiscal responsiblity and prefer candidates who like to employ disruptive political models.
Sam Brownback (http://www.nytimes.com/2015/01/17/us...cuts.html?_r=0), 'not the man we want, but the man we NEED'.
Ted Cruz (http://money.cnn.com/2013/10/16/news...act/index.html) the guy who shut down the government singlehandedly (and accomplished nothing in the process) and your first candidate.
Bobby Jindal (http://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/07/us...et-vortex.html). Took a $1 billion dollar surplus and turned it into a $1.6 billion dollar deficit. The candidate you're currently supporting.
I bet if you could travel in a time machine back to 1932, you'd vote for Herbert Hoover, too.
I am still hoping we have a breakthrough candidate on the republican side, but I'm going to look for someone who can execute a fiscal plan, not someone who starts to execute a fiscal plan and then watches it blow up in their faces.
Have a nice weekend! ;)

I am not arguing the turnaround in Louisiana. Although I like Bobby Jindal, I favor a different candidate entirely, one I have only mentioned a couple times.People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. -Isaac Asimov

Also, you might want to look into the definition of "conspiracy." Hint: It involves more than one person. I laugh at conspiracy theorists because they always rely on a belief that many, many people (usually the government) can work together effectively and secretly to accomplish a goal. One person having an ulterior motive is not a conspiracy theory. Everyone has a motivation behind their actions.Last edited by Rlh04d; July 25, 2015, 01:40 PM.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

You're seriously the kind of guy that tries to jump into a discussion about politics waving around a Political Science degree as a trump card? I don't even know how to respond to that without being rude.People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. -Isaac Asimov

"I've worked in politics for X number of years" is a validation. "I have a political science degree and I wrote papers" is what a 23 year old uses right before "man" when he's fixing the world's problems over a bowl of pot after a rough night's work at Starbucks.Last edited by Rlh04d; July 25, 2015, 08:15 PM.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'
