Obama and his handlers truly believe they can project his statement on everyone else and make it stick. And they'll refuse to believe any differently.

Actually, you guys aren't thinking outside the box on this. If you are going to meddle then MEDDLE! We should arm each side with a nuclear suitcase. Just make sure it's set to go off automatically if the GPS coordinates come within 100 miles of leaving the Syrian border.
That'll solve the problem for a while.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

I just watched "The Departed" on AMC last night. It had commentary tidbits that would pop up during the movie for trivia and info about the actors, director, etc.
One of the lines in particular that seem especially relevant was that Scorcese viewed Matt Damon's character as tragic because "he truly believes he can get away with everything"

And judging by your latest comments, you must be the most extreme liberal I've ever had any interaction with and that's impressive. I have some liberal friends that amaze me, but I think you'd even shock some of them.I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

There's corruption throughout DC and in all these bureaucracies many of the offenders likely span administrations, so it's difficult to pin them on one president or another unless connections can be made. The test I give a president is how he handles it once it is out in the open. Other than Obama getting out in front of the IRS non-profit scandal, I don't think he's handled any of the others as an honorable leader should.

There are some religious web sites (for instance, http://www.raptureforums.com/IsraelM...ndisaiah17.cfm) that are saying this could mark the end of Damascus, Syria. They quote Isaiah 17:1, The burden against Damascus.“Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap." And also Isaiah 17:3b-4, "The kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria; they will be as the glory of the children of Israel,” says the Lord of hosts.
So I'm guessing that these religious organizations want an attack to occur on Syria, either by the United States or by Israel. Damascus and Syria won't be destroyed at this time. There are other events that have to take place before any of this occurs.
