What exactly is it that you understand? I'm being serious.

Even most of my liberal friends have backed away from Obama. I'm amused at how well kc stands by him and says nothing.
And "limited action" does nothing good. It's not going to take out chemical weapons and it's not going to deter Assad or his Iranian buddies. If anything, it's just going to piss them and Russia off and escalate the whole thing. I'm not a big fan of getting involved in situations like these anyway, but if you're going to get involved, there has to be a clear purpose and goal and it should probably be to overthrow a mad man. But in this case, nobody wants to get that involved and nobody is sure that those who would take over would be any better. So why even do anything?

Your signature quote is awesome. Rowdy Roddy Piper had one of the best movie quotes ever.
See, we don't always have opposing views.
But your blind support of the biggest tool since Jimmy C is nauseating.
Especially in light of his pending biggest misfire (here's a clue - it isn't going to be "some limited action"). Once the **** hits the fan, it will scatter all over and cover every wall.
When was the last time there was just a 'little bit of limited action' in a Middle East conflict?
That's like saying the tsunami that hit Indonesia was "just a little wave".
That is all.Above all, make the right call.

Gotta admit ya made me laugh Ref. But the biggest tool was W followed closely by Mr. Reagan. As far as Syria you know how I feel. I also dont have access to the intelligence briefing and international talk going on behind closed doors.I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

And you could have stopped your sentence after "I don't have access to any intelligence".

I think many of the conservative/libertarian posters on this board will agree that Bush wasn't the greatest president, but I agree with Doc that history will look more favorably on him than the current media.
Reagan however is the best thing this country has had in the White House in my lifetime. He wasn't perfect, but he was far better than anyone we've had since.
And judging by your latest comments, you must be the most extreme liberal I've ever had any interaction with and that's impressive. I have some liberal friends that amaze me, but I think you'd even shock some of them.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

All you really need to know about Syria...
... is Assad is fighting against the Muslim Brotherhood. He hates them to the core.
He recently commented after hearing the Muslim Brotherhood compared to a common pig, that is was an insult to the pig.
Now, we all know how the Muslim Brotherhood regime worked out in Egypt. Why, it was an unparallelled success and Egypt is in fantastic shape today!
Lets also remember who supported the initial takeover from Hosni Mubarak.
That's right - KC11's good friend, Barack Hussein Obama.
And now he wants us to support his 'little intervention' in Syria against... that's right kiddies. You guessed it.
Got the picture now?
That is all.Above all, make the right call.

Here is President Obama's speech transcript from October 2, 2002 about Iraq. "I know that even a successful war against Iraq will require a US occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences. I know that an invasion of Iraq without a clear rationale and without strong international support will only fan the flames of the Middle East, and encourage the worst, rather than best, impulses of the Arab world, and strengthen the recruitment arm of al-Qaeda. I am not opposed to all wars. I’m opposed to dumb wars."

From Obama speech today in Sweeden before he headed out golfing. It is like we have the Obama who escaped from Bizarro World here. He is the Bizzaro World Harry Truman - "The buck never stopped on my desk"
“I didn’t set a red line, the world set a red line,” Obama said. “My credibility’s not on the line. The international community’s credibility is on the line. And America and Congress’s credibility’s on the line."
