He has a good point -- why should he participate in a debate with hostile media anchor moderators that inject themselves into the debate instead of just moderating it like they are supposed to?

His main missteps has trying to take failed underhand swipes with Trump, while Trump comes back lays body blows back on the "Groomer". 2nd, DeSantis position on Ukraine and social security have been changing course weekly.

The Disney thing also may go very bad for him. DeSantis had a victory over Disney. They fired their CEO and Disney quit talking about politics and was looking for detente with Desantis (which is what DeSantis wanted). The Disney CEO even offered to sit down with DeSantis and settle the dispute that been going on for a year.

Instead DeSantis couldn't leave it alone and has pushed Disney to the point where they filed a law suit against Florida. Disney replaced their incompetent CEO back with former CEO Bob Iger who is politically competent. From all the analyses I have read, most lawyers expect Disney to win.

The GOP has been dumb and incompetent for a long time, the final straw for me was when they re-elected Ronna Romney McDaniel to lead the RNC when they had an outstanding option in Harmeet Dhillon.
