The sad thing is that Biden is a candidate that should be a slam dunk win for Republicans. However Trump has a 30-35% Base that is not growing. Hopefully, enough people who don’t like Trump (but like Democrats less) come home and vote Republican. Trump should win, but many Republicans are still holding their noses. It probably is a close election, no matter how weak Biden is.

Actually not true. He has to be nominated by the Republican Party, and while Trump has a sure 35% strongly behind him, it will take 5-10% more to win. It’s all about the suburban women and maybe a few never trumpers coming back to vote for Trump. It’s going to be close to win the electoral college. I think Trump currently has the edge.

However, with Biden being such a poor and feeble candidate, Trump (or a good candidate) should be a sure “winner” by now, if he didn’t have supporters who refuse to have an open mind.

Have to say I am a little surprised that in Delaware, Hunter was found guilty of all charges (3 felonies).

Kind of wonder what the August surprise will be. And to be honest, while he is certainly guilty, would he have been prosecuted were he not the son of the President?

I don't know. I also don't know what the sentencing guidelines are. He's clearly a menace to society and shouldn't be allowed to own a gun going forward. I don't think he deserves jail time nor do I think it's practical. A substantial fine would make sense, along with community service.

No date was set for sentencing...typically it's around 120 days. Just a little surprised this happened in Delaware.

This is trivial compared to what is in that lap top. THAT is far FAR more damaging if the contents are made public.

Hamas should not require much convincing as the proposal is nearly identical to the one Hamas itself proposed on May 6, according to Blinken.

So to recap: Biden announced the vague “miracle” deal that he claims was Israel’s idea. Oddly, he announced it instead of their own Prime Minister, and he announced it on the Sabbath when the Israeli government could not respond. The deal sounded nothing like what Israel had been demanding all along, and the Prime Minister had to directly refute it as misinformation. Then, Blinken attempts to encourage us by assuring us Hamas will accept the deal because they wrote it. And, of course, they still reject it because making a deal was never really something they intended to do.

All that betrayal and throwing Israel under the bus for nothing.

It is like the two state option - Israel has offered it, but it is rejected because they know when they can’t blame Israel then the people will come after them. Also, Israel will make sure Hamas leadership have accidents. This is the repeat of the Munich massacre, but on a scale 500 times bigger. Israel won’t stop even if there is a “fake” peace deal.
