Honestly, Trump fans... you need to be very careful about shedding tears over foreign lands. Do you remember anything the orange man said when he was in power? He pissed off every single ally we had in the known universe. He threatened pulling out of every foreign base, abandoning a global policy we'd maintained for over half a century.
I guess this is your kinda-sorta way of saying biden's decision making over the last 2 weeks has been a master stroke of diplomacy.

Blue dog eh? This POS'd take a knee a for Colbert if he could get a good photo op out of it...

Don't understand why any Republicans are still kowtowing to Donald Trump. I get that he stuck a cord with a lot of people and may have had a few good ideas but given his chaotic mind and personality defects, he was pretty much ineffectual in terms of policy making. Maybe people still pay homage to Trump due to the crazy political polarization in the country, but if the Republican party is to sort it out in the future they had better get as far away from Donald Trump the person as they can. Just want to add that I'm pretty moderate [ maybe an Eisenhower Republican ] and would like to see the Republicans pull it together...

I never voted for Trump. Never liked the guy. I wasn't a knee jerk Trump hater, either. I ended up seeming to defend the guy a lot because of the insanity tossed at him.. That said, regardless of any previous administration actions, this mess is all due to Biden. He has been in office plenty long to make command decisions, renegotiate, or even void any agreement Trump made. Instead, he ignored advisors that told him this would happen. He told reporters all was going to plan and there was nothing to worry about. This is all in his lap.

Lest I pull out then Vice President Biden's quote from 2010 about leaving Afghanistan back then and possibly creating this exact fiasco, he said, "F@&k that, we don't have to worry about that. We did it in Vietnam, Nixon and Kissinger got away with it." Biden wanted out then, he wants out now, we have a quote where he really doesn't care about the human cost. Well, he got what he wanted in 2010, it just took another decade before he could pull the plug. He has to own this.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Apparently you're agreeing with cold's not-so-well thought out post? Maybe the outrage on this board has absolutely zero to do with President Trump, but rather the fact we were in the military. What's he got to do with biden's screw up's? Just forget Benghazi ever happened, under this nitwit, and the Witch? We know cold never served his country. Did you not either? If you did, I stand corrected.

Yeah, Trump threatened to leave NATO; and NATO threatened to send that lyin' POS (that would be biden) back to North America.

P.S.- I'm glad we hit 'em back, but that doesn't erase the fact that there is basically no military support at the civilian airport, and there are still 72 hours to go to get the heck out of there, unless joe in his wisdom moves that up 24 or 48 hours...

          • Drone attack kills 2 injures 1 ISIS-K suspected in the planning of the attack on the airport.

            No known civilians hurt.

This should be a forever attack. If you are in any way associated with ISIS A-Z, we're watching you. We've deemed you worthless and a scourge on mankind and we've sentenced you to death. We will send drones that you can't see or hear. We have an endless supply of these. We will never run out and we have hundreds of thousands of young patriots that can fly these things into a ****ing keyhole from protected areas you can and will never even see much less attack. WHEN, not if, we can kill you, we WILL. Today, tomorrow, next week, next year, 1000 years from now. You've been painted....good bye asshole.

I just saw your comment. Eisenhower Republican, HUH? I knew you were actually a Bernie Bro. Bernie wants to go back to Eisenhower tax policies, but he’s lying about the facts on it. He wants us to have the highest tax rate (above 90 percent) in the world except for the most extreme Socialist countries and chase American corporations, and their jobs, offshore to other countries again. It would also wreck successful SMALL businesses.

Bernie even refers to Eisenhower as a Socialist.

"There's no question that it's probably Joe Biden's worst nightmare to lose 13 Marines as a result of what's happened here," says former Obama CIA director Leon Panetta of the deadly attacks in Afghanistan. "This has to be the worst day in his administration ...............We’re probably going to go have to go back in.... "

                • Glad to see Joe follow through. We've pretty much got unlimited drones. I say we enact Operation Locust and darken the skies with them. The terrorists won't be able to step out for a piss w/o the constant thought that they are only alive because we allow it.

                  • Glenn Greenwald @ggreenwald

So the US Government knew so little about what was happening in Afghanistan that they had no idea the Afghan Security Forces would evaporate and the Taliban immediately take over, but they were able to find within 24 hours the precise ISIS-K "planner" to kill? OK.

Thank you, I’m glad someone is asking the question.

                      • Why aren't we sending 1000s of drone attacks to destroy every copter, plane, armored vehicle and munitions dump that was left behind?

Again, if you're wearing, carrying, driving or flying ANYTHING that was ours, you're dead.

                        Sincerely,

                        The ****ing Marines

Our heroes were returned to American soil and Dover AFB today. Nobody from the Biden White House attended.

                            • Every administration has had both strong and weak, good and bad people appointments.

THIS administration is so top weak, so incompetent, so impuissant, it's really difficult to believe.

We have a feckless, feeble and lost President who may very well be mentally compromised. A Vice President that is in charge of nothing, is under-prepared at BEST for the job, can't stop from giggling when asked the most basic of questions and is constantly hidden from public view, ostensibly to keep her from uttering damaging gaffes while frightening all but the most brainwashed liberal at the thought she could become President. And we have a Sec. of State that can't construct the most basic of thoughts without uttering a dozen "uhs" and staring blankly, thoughtlessly into the camera like a deer in the headlights. Hilary Clinton destroys him in any and every comparison...think about that for a moment. We have a professional student, another Dr. that's not a Dr., running the Treasury. I do believe we have a strong Sec of Defense in Gen. Austin. But Merrick Garland is spineless. Xavier Becerra is an idiot, and I flushed a deuce this morning that had more thoughtful and original ideas than Pete Buttigieg.

The credibility of this claim would be helped if the Pentagon would name the two they killed.
