This probably deserves its own thread but those of you who call Trump a racist need to listen. I'm not sure you care if he is or isn't, and you will continue to develop your own narrative of racists. Anyone who votes for Trump gets thrown in this basket some of the time. Biden says that if a black votes for Trump, he really isn't an African American. Here is what Herschel Walker says.

Former NFL running back and Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker defended President Donald Trump on the opening night of the 2020 Republican National Convention, saying accusations the president is racist "hurt my soul."

"I take that as a personal insult, that people would think I’ve had a 37-year friendship with a racist," he said in his three-minute speech. "People don't know what they're talking about. Growing up in the deep South, I’ve seen racism up close. I know what it is. And it isn’t Donald Trump."

Walker detailed his relationship with the president, which goes back to when Trump bought the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League in 1984 after Walker completed his first season with the team. Unable to compete with the NFL, the USFL folded in 1986.

"He shows how much he cares about social justice in the Black community through his actions, and his actions speak louder than stickers and slogans on a jersey," said Walker.

While athletes have peacefully protested during the national anthem to bring awareness to causes such as police brutality, Trump has demonized the practice by insinuating the protests are anti-military.

"Just because someone loves and respects the flag, our National Anthem and our country, doesn’t mean they don’t care about social justice," Walker said. "I care about all of those things. So does Donald Trump.

Another great speech from a "legal immigrant" whose parents came to America from India. She said her father wore a turban and her mother wore a Sorri. Her father taught in a Historical Black College. She talks about being brown in a black and white world. She says a lot and it's worth a listen.

“In much of the Democratic Party, it’s now fashionable to say that America is racist. That is a lie. America is not a racist country,” Haley said during her speech.

“I was a brown girl and in a black and white world. We faced discrimination and hardship, but my parents never gave in to grievance and hate,” she added.

She went on to say that “America is a story that's a work in progress” and “now is the time to build on that progress and make America even freer, fairer and better for everyone.”

On Tuesday Haley said, “They want to call us a racist country and I will tell you, ask my parents, they do not believe this is a racist country. Me, elected as the first female, first minority governor of South Carolina, this is not a racist country. Ask [South Carolina Republican Sen.] Tim Scott, this is not a racist country.”

Host Steve Doocy asked Haley what she makes “of the fact that at least one TV network last night was live-fact checking the RNC?”

He noted that those networks did not fact-check during the Democratic National Convention and also asked, “What does that tell the viewer?”

“It tells them that they are a big part of the cancel culture,” Haley said. “They just aren't going to like anything you say regardless of what it is.”

Man oh man, I sure hope some of you were able to watch at least part of that RNC last night. Wow! What a true example of American patriotism and class. Highlights for me were Tim Scott, Steve Scalise, and Maximo Alvarez. Such a huge cross section of America and all believe in the job that Trump is doing and it is fascinating that the MSM does not want us to see this and focus on this.

Another absolute truth was Vernon Jones (a Democrat) comment that "Democrats won't let Black people leave the 'mental plantation'" So true.

“The Democratic Party does not want Black people to leave their mental plantation,” Jones, 54, said during his virtual speech. “We are free people with free minds.”

He went on to praise Trump for enacting policies that benefit the Black community, including signing a bill to give funding to HBCUs and “working every day to make our communities safer,” while claiming that the Democratic party is “pandering” to Black voters.

Another great speech from Maximo Alvarez

Alvarez, the founder of Sunshine Gasoline Distributors, fled Cuba with his parents at the age of 13 as Fidel Castro and his communist regime took control of the island. Speaking in support of President Trump, an emotional Alvarez alleged that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is “mostly concerned about power” and would allow socialist policies to take hold in America.

“I’ve seen movements like this before. I’ve seen ideas like this before. I am here to tell you – we cannot let them take over our country,” Alvarez said. “I heard the promises of Fidel Castro. And I can never forget all those who grew up around me, who looked like me, who suffered and starved and died because they believed those empty promises. They swallowed the communist poison pill.”

Alvarez argued that policies favored by prominent Democrats, such as free health care, and calls to defund the police are “false promises” that “sound familiar” based on his experiences in Cuba. The Trump administration has accused Biden and running mate Kamala Harris of embracing far-left policies in their platform.

Officials in several Democrat-run cities have pushed to cut funding for local police forces in recent months amid nationwide protests against systemic racism. Biden has repeatedly denied that he plans to defund police departments, stating instead that he intends to crack down on misconduct and provide support for better practices.

The country I was born in is gone, totally destroyed,” Alvarez said. “When I watch the news in Seattle and Chicago and Portland, when I see history being rewritten, when I hear the promises—I hear echoes of a former life I never wanted to hear again. I see shadows I thought I had outrun.”


A moving speech from someone who has gone through what Bernie Sanders and AOC are wanting and he is alarmed. I have heard from other immigrants who remember coming to America from Hungary, and other eastern European countries who went for Marxism, and Soviet style Communism just has happened in Venezuela, China, and Cuba.

Meanwhile our BLM leaders like Cullors, etc. are advocating that they are Marxist trained and their main goal is to get rid of the police. Read about how Marxism was implemented by Lenin in Russia, Castro in Cuba, and Maduro in Venezuela.

There's a lot of em'. No, I don't want to list them. By and large, whenever someone white/black is shot by a cop and they don't have a gun, people get pissed. The public doesn't understand the effectiveness of a knife. That being said, if you come at me with a knife, and I have a ball-bat, I'm gonna win 9 out of 10 times. That's a fact jack. You'll get a broken arm and a cracked nugget. :P

Two or three cops with big sticks can take out a fool with a knife easily. Cops need to start doing more martial arts training and getting their hands dirty... and using more bats. The gun is a little barbaric, UNLESS they're in a gun fight.

Cosmic justice is not the law of the land. I'm not aware of the state of Wisconsin jurisprudence, but I doubt resisting arrest carries a penalty of instant firing squad. This is the issue. Cops need to neutralize immediate existential threats and all others need to be hauled in. Was there a gun visible to the officer in this guy's reach? We shall see.

I am too brother. I believe police should have access to pistols, shotguns, and rifles, but maybe they stay in the trunk until there is an actual report of a suspect w/ a weapon.

There is an aspect of engaging suspects under stress that few people - who either haven't been in law enforcement, or haven't studied officer involved shootings - are aware of. Massad Ayoob is a good source to study on what happens to officers when they are threatened. For one, they lose a lot of control over small muscle movements, judgement, memory, and even hearing. When a cop starts shooting, you can believe he is shitting his pants in real-time. This is a perfect recipe for poor judgment.

One interesting phenomenon that Ayoob has defended officers in court for, is shooting suspects in the back. Massad has proven that there is a significant gap in awareness between when officers decide to pull the trigger, and when they eventually do. They get tunnel vision and revert back to large motor skill training. Many times the perp has already turned around before bullets leave the gun. It's really, really weird. Auditory exclusion is another interesting subject to research.

I should tell you about an incident that happened to me once... it involved a misunderstanding and a gun that ended up pointed directly at CB's nugget. The officer was VERY nervous and displayed poor trigger discipline (that means his finger was on the ***** trigger of his Glock - NO SAFETY). I still remember the gaping whole at the end - Glock 21 (45 ACP). Thankfully, I think very clearly in times of duress and carefully followed all instructions until things could be straightened out. Then we were all bros. But make no mistake, I could have had my head made into a canoe if I panicked and started waving my hands around. Take it from someone who's ONCE been on the wrong end of a gun, it is no fun. Being white (and sexy) did not help me in the least.

I actually like Cold’s slogan: Comply. Don’t die. There needs to be a reminder that doing exactly what an officer tells you to do dramatically decreases your chances of being killed by the officer by about 100%. I don’t recall a case out there where an innocent bystander or somebody following police instructions was killed or shot at by the engaging officers. The problem is there is a mindset out there that some people think they’re above the law, or can do “whatever the **** they want”. That’s when innocent instances go awry. The campaign should also throw in the token “STOP BREAKING THE LAW ASSHOLE” as a great way to avoid the presence of law enforcement altogether. I mean do people think these officers are going up to innocent black people and killing them because they’re black? I have more respect for the ANTIFA dbags when pressing this issue because at least they think police are killing everybody equally. The BLM movement is even more garbage because they think officers are literally killing people just because they’re black, which of course is the biggest farce running, that continues to be given steam by the mainstream “media”.
