  • Any Trump fans getting tired...

I will have to admit, his use of the term, "Kung Flu" at a time when we have Libtards preparing to set themselves on fire in the streets is extremely un-smart. I've never totally figured out his trolling beyond just grabbing ahold of the news cycle's nutsack. But continually making off-color statements when our country is so on edge... it's just not smart.

Also... his not wearing a mask in the face of such an existential threat, in spite of overwhelming science and adoption by his very own cabinet and advisors, seems like a very low-payout demonstration.

At this point I wish I had a way to reign in his behavior somehow. I can't cut off my nose to spite my face though. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater by not voting for him or voting for the opposition would be an overreaction.

He pushed me one time a little too far when he got into a shouting match on Twitter with a porn star he paid for sex. I am now starting to feel that same kind of exasperation.

I've given Trump the benefit of the doubt so many times. I'm thankful of his appointments and his Conservative governing. But for the love of Pete, I'd just like to not hear from him for a while. Maybe forever. I fear there are many more Republicans like me out there and November is going to be a problem.

Why can't the ****ing guy just act normal? WHY??

    Get your guns now folks.

Why do the evangelicals still support him when he lies, commits adultery, can't treat his neighbor as himself? Just my admittedly biased opinion, but the evangelicals have ceded their moral high ground, which I could respect them for until now. If this guy was a Mennonite, they would have shunned him, at least the Mennonite church I knew about growing up.

Now they just look like any other 'means justify the ends' type of people, which, to me, is very un-christian and not really different than your typical, garden-variety agnostic's thought processes.

The religious right is going to have a hard time getting people to buy into the criticisms they raise against anyone who succeeds him. They will look like a bunch of hypocrites.

Same for the law-and-order positions Republicans previously had before our current President. Putting your finger on the scales of justice does not reconcile with 'law and order' unless the definition of 'law and order' being employed is twisted and skewed.

There is a reason lady justice holds a scale and is blindfolded. It's because justice is supposed to be applied equally under the law without any preconceptions or preferences.

I could go on, but he will not reign in his behavior. And the republicans in our legislative branch won't confront him, either. And that only makes the problem worse, because it is the equivalent of enabling these behaviors.

And why I will not vote for him this time around. I don't like our choices this time around, but I think this country needs healing so I'm going to vote for the person who is the better human being. I just wish to heck we could get better candidates to run for President.

I'm getting old and still have a lot of energy, but I don't think 74 and 78 year olds represent the best and the brightest. Nor the most energetic.

And anyone who is buying Trump is the 'better' candidate because he's 'only' 74 is splitting some mighty fine hairs.

He was less evil than his opponent last time, and is this time as well

They support him because he fights unabashedly for their causes. They believe he is being used by God to further God's will. They aren't concerned with the "vessel"; in this case, Donald Trump the person. For the last several decades Christians in America have watched as their "Christian Country" has slid further and further "towards the devil". Yes, Trump may be the devil, but God has used the Devil before on many occasions to fulfill his will. This is what the Christians believe today. The second Trump would stop working for the Christian agenda would be the very same second he would lose most of his Evangelical support.

You are correct that Biden is most likely a "nicer" person than DJT. Many Liberals are nice people, they are just uninformed and soft and they increase poverty and crime every time they get into power.

If Trump is a bad president, he at least had a future in entertainment. What do you think?

I think you're right. He is a good entertainer and promoter, but not a good problem solver.

I don't think there's anything wrong with his intelligence. I have researched his past fully. He is above average in intelligence. He is an outside the box thinker. He is also very undisciplined (artistic?), uncouth, and basically does not give a single F about other people's feelings.

And he is an unabashed narcissist. Many past presidents before him were. But perhaps not as easy to diagnose. Trump wears his narcissism on his sleeve.

Trump is his own worst enemy. He might be the least humble person on the face of the earth.

Maybe, but have you seen the alternative...?

I will admit he has a bit of Reagan envy and he sees himself in that mold. He gets extra macho and puffy come election time. But this is very calculated as it plays to his base. And, his silent majority who care about their pocket books and their religion love him because he has fortified the SC and supports evangelical causes. They eat it up. The man is a lot of things, but he is no dummy and his strategists aren't either. He knows who his opponent is and how to attack him best. Get used to it because there will be a lot more of the John Wayne bravado over the next few months.

For me personally, while I might not like the way Trump acts and comes across, when I look at my beliefs and my concerns in this world, he aligns a helluva lot closer than Biden. Thus, I will have no choice come voting time. And, there are a helluva lot of people just like me out there.

Biden is more humble only because he can’t even remember his own name most days.

I’ve never even considered doing anything Olmert that. It makes me sick to my stomach to even think about doing something like that. Before long he will be kissing hands and shaking babies.
