There are 8 million confirmed U.S. cases of coronavirus, and yet the pandemic is heavily politicized.
'No surprise' we're seeing coronavirus surge in Republican areas, ER doctor explains
North Dakota and South Dakota currently have the most confirmed cases per capita among U.S. states, according to data from the New York Times. South Dakota’s governor, Kristi Noem, a Republican and staunch Trump supporter, declined to impose any mask mandate or business restrictions within her state. She’s also attributed the surge in cases to increased testing, although that doesn’t account for the surge in hospitalizations her state is also experiencing.
“People are acknowledging that the hospitalization rate is increasing,” McDonald said. “First you see the rise in cases, then the rise in hospitalizations, then the rise in deaths. The fact we’re already seeing a rise in hospitalizations, these systems are going to be overwhelmed very quickly, potentially more quickly than New York. Unfortunately, I think the rise in the death rate will be soon to follow.”
It will be interesting to see the changes Biden implements regarding our situation. Unfortunately, he won't be sworn in until January so it may be too little too late. This virus will have quite the head of steam behind it after Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then New Years. What a sad holiday season it will be this year. Get ready to see carnage like you've never witnessed in America outside of a war or back in 1918. We hit 75,000 infections yesterday. We are on track to follow exactly what the modeler's have been forecasting.
Next stop: 400k dead by February.

Coronavirus Has Killed More Americans Than the Last 5 Flu Seasons Combined
Dr. Anthony Fauci emphasized that COVID-19 “is very much different from influenza” hours after President Trump incorrectly claimed it was “far less lethal”
With more than 210,750 Americans dead from COVID-19 since March, the virus is killing people at an unprecedented rate, unlike any disease seen in over 100 years.
Yet an incorrect belief, that COVID-19 is no more deadly than the seasonal flu, continues to circulate on social media, frequently driven by President Donald Trump. On Tuesday, he dangerously tweeted that “sometimes over 100,000” people die of the flu each year and that Americans should not shut down their lives for COVID-19, which he claimed is “in most populations far less lethal.” Facebook removed a similar post from Trump — who is currently sick with COVID-19 — and Twitter flagged the tweet, saying that violated Twitter rules “about spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19.”
What a fool...
When he loses the election, I hope Twitter bans his account. That would be absolutely thrilling. Shut that ****ing twit's Twitter account down for good.

Trump, the Covidiot-in-Chief. Lots of blood on that delusional fool's hands.

Twitter removes tweet from Trump coronavirus adviser that undermined importance of masks
Twitter has removed a tweet from White House coronavirus task force member Dr. Scott Atlas that sought to undermine the importance of face masks because it was in violation of the platform's Covid-19 Misleading Information Policy, a spokesman for the company confirmed on Sunday.
Atlas wrote in a tweet posted Saturday, "Masks work? NO" followed by a series of misrepresentations about the science behind the effectiveness of masks in combating the pandemic.
The tweet, which comes as coronavirus cases spike across the US, also linked to an article in the American Institute for Economic Research that argues against the effectiveness of masks, among other things.
According to Twitter, the policy Atlas violated prohibits sharing false or misleading content related to Covid-19 that could lead to harm.
This guy should be carted off to jail... along with his enabler.

Listen to yourselves. Totally oblivious to how your minds have been manipulated. The power of propaganda on suggestive citizenry in living color.
Those that died from the flu at 33 were likely obese and/or had extreme comorbidities.
Not too often you see a 33 yr. old gym rat with a body fat of <8% die of anything but a drug overdose or car wreck.

Now, we're no longer looking to the United States for the outliers. We're going global to find them.
Sure seems like inadequate treatment played a role as well?Deuces Valley.
