EXCLUSIVE: Special Adviser to President Trump Dr. Scott Atlas fired back at criticisms leveled against him and his role on the Coronavirus Task Force on Monday, defending his record and expertise while maintaining that his advice to the president is based on the current science.

Thanks for teeing this one up for me...

CDC Director Robert Redfield took aim at Covid-19 task force member Scott Atlas, telling a colleague in an overheard call that "everything he says is false."

Redfield voices alarm over influence of Trump's new coronavirus task force adviser

CDC Director Robert Redfield took aim at Covid-19 task force member Scott Atlas, telling a colleague in an overheard call that "everything he says is false."
WASHINGTON — The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has grown increasingly concerned that President Donald Trump, pushed by a new member of his coronavirus task force, is sharing incorrect information about the pandemic with the public.

Dr. Robert Redfield, who leads the CDC, suggested in a conversation with a colleague Friday that Dr. Scott Atlas is arming Trump with misleading data about a range of issues, including questioning the efficacy of masks, whether young people are susceptible to the virus and the potential benefits of herd immunity.

"Everything he says is false," Redfield said during a phone call made in public on a commercial airline and overheard by NBC News.

Redfield acknowledged after the flight from Atlanta to Washington that he was speaking about Atlas, a neuroradiologist with no background in infectious diseases or public health. Atlas was brought on to the White House task force in August.
Scott Atlas is a ****ing moron and Trump is a ****ing moron too it seems. And what does that make you?

Please don't take it personally, this is a teaching moment. #toughlove

Meanwhile, if a Republican or Trump did this, OMG they would be burned at the stake.

The left had no qualms about completely demolishing the best economy in the history of the United States for political reasons. Let that sink it for a minute. We've seen evidence of it over and over again. They purposely made this whole thing seem way worse than it is in hopes of winning an election. Think about that when you vote for Hiden.

U realize we are all going to get it at some point. Once it got loose from China it always been about keeping the number of cases to a manageable level and not swamping the hospitals, it has never been about stopping it spread.

And that's what all these "experts" on this forum don't get. It's a virus. It can't be contained. And yes, whatever happened to "bending the curve"? I thought that was the ultimate goal? And now that's completely in the rearview mirror. All of this running and hiding for a vaccine that, if it performs as well as the flu vaccine" will be around 50% effective. But is that 100%? Nope. Will people still die after the vaccine is implemented? Yes. Each individual can decide how to best handle the situation based on their own risk assessments and beliefs. But telling the whole country what to do as a whole? Did we manage to survive the 1918 Spanish Flu without a lockdown? What about the 1968 Hong Kong Flu? It's biology. Yes, do what you can to stop it but you aren't going to eradicate a virus. So unless the plan is to mask it and social distance it for the rest of our lives, then what's the point?

                      • Well Mr. SuperSpreader has increased his tally.....now they are saying 4 journalists. That makes 12.

Truly a great job, but Trump always does a great job, doesn't he. My only comment is I'd like to see the numbers go even higher, in order to show all his fans how he really does things right.

If I had to choose, I'd choose a few more congresscritters. Perhaps a few from the house (since we alrready have 3 senators) or perhaps even a couple more senators. But who? LIndsey Graham? Mitch? Rick Scott? So many choices, so little time!

I also think his game is a little weak when he exposed the Secret Service agents during his private personal parade yesterday. He should have had a couple of those guys on the list above in the car with him. Then it would have been truly spectacular!

Putting your head in the sand won't help.

There will be a cure. A vaccine, readily available by the middle of next year that will help ensure the virus will begin to go away. But note my words....it won't be readily available until the middle of next year. The supply chain can only move so fast.

BTW, there were lockdowns...in Philly and St. Louis for starters (but not organized at the federal level because President Wilson pulled a Trump and told everyone how 'harmless' it was until he got violently sick).

                          Seems like history repeats itself.

You guys who slobber at Trumps feet are all the same. If he (as he said during the election in 2016) pulled a gun on 5th avenue and started shooting people for no reason at all, you would either need for Sean Hannity of Q-Anon to give you a justification. Which you would accept without question.

This has no relevance to anything.

Supply chain isn’t the issue for the vaccine.
