Currently about 1-2% of the NBA has cornavirus, yet we're supposed to believe that LESS than 0.001% of the world has the virus? Just use numbers, man. It doesn't make sense. Also odd that NBA players that are not showing symptoms are getting tests, while normal folk showing symptoms have a better chance of becoming WSU's starting PG next year than getting a test.

I'll say it for everyone in the back--I think millions of people have this virus currently.

EDIT: I also didn't self-diagnose. I called the doctor who said I more than likely have the virus, however, since I haven't come into contact with anyone that has the virus directly, I don't qualify for a test.

And maybe statements that we have it under control.
Dana Milbank in his article said that Trump "called the Caronavirus a hoax". This was a lie in a newspaper article. In reality, Trump referred to the "left's criticism of his handling of the Caronavirus as the left's new hoax"

Repeating the lie doesn't make it correct and again, it just leads to a division of the "right and left". Trump is just a punching bag for the left and they need to stop it when it comes to this crisis.

To the left media, he can't do anything right. He never said that Coronavirus was a hoax and the attack that he did was a hoax of the "left".

Right now, we don't know what will happen and how long it will happen. The curve is more likely to flatten here in the midwest earlier than in places like California, Washington, New York, and Florida (where some of the cities like Clearwater haven't included their beaches in their actions). Those kids will likely bring it back to where they live when Spring break is over. Again, we need to be working together and our CDC experts are taking the lead on the steps we are taking.

Trump, who previously called alarm over the coronavirus 'a hoax' and compared it to the flu, now says he's 'always viewed it as very serious'

          Does that help?

I WAS a Trump voter, but now I'm a "Never Trumper". When the republican party as a whole starts to level with the American people and call out these falsehoods, I will accept your "I'm tired of left or right stuff". Until then, I will call balls and strikes as I see them.

This transcends politics, obviously. You haven't a clue. Your dabbling in the realm of stupidity and know it not. I would say you should know better, but...

Just keep posting, and those who support the President will readily address your opinions with all of the -ahem- validity with which they deserve. And then after that, don't run and hide again... because we need you around here.

You have to be sick enough to present yourself at a hospital in order to get a test where I am.

Are poor President Trump. This is hilarious coming from the guy who claims the Chinese sent thousands to the Southern Border to attack.

The mere fact that you showed up here to insult me means you know who you are. I suppose the fighting words will come next, right? When you don't have facts, insult and cuss.

Funny how now all of a sudden this transcends politics. But yet you had no problem taking part in making it political from the get-go. How big of a loser are you man?

                      Mar 13 - 16: 5065 to 6513, +1448 (or extrapolated over three days, approximately +400, +500, +600)

That's a pretty clear trend. If it continues, we should expect to see close to 15,000 confirmed by Monday. My own personal guess is that the actual number is, at a minimum, 10x that.

I am hoping we'll see an inflection point somewhere in the next week, but I'm not optimistic.
                      Is this good or bad?

Are you asking about an inflection point?

If so, it's good. That means the number of new cases from one day to the next is starting to decrease.

This is from a Wall Street Journal article on Trump, the Right, and the Caronavirus.

"It’s not accurate, as the press reported last week, that the President called the virus a “hoax.” He said the criticisms of his Administration were a hoax. Yet his public remarks too often continue to give the impression that he views the virus more as another chance for political combat than as a serious public-health problem."

The Wall Street Journal isn't afraid of criticizing Trump and went on to criticize Trump on how he incorrectly caused some of his own problems by misstatements, etc. This article was a couple of weeks ago, but since then, he has done a better job of staying out of the way of the CDC. I don't argue that Trump has not made mistakes in his handling of this crisis.

However, I take issue with never Trumpers and the leftwing media who isn't more balanced in their criticisms of the President. While I don't agree with everything the President says, I would never become a Never Trumper because of the good he has done for causes I believe in and the damage that would be done if the Bernie Sanders wing of the Democrat party makes the changes they want to and that Biden has agreed to make to our country. Our social safety net is becoming over run with societal problems that at some point will cause the safety net that we have had for 50+ years to CRUMBLE, and until recently the safety net was agreed upon by both the right and left and is now threatened. For example, now, the left wants ALL people within the U.S. borders to get free health care. I believe in what Milton Friedman said in the 80's.

So if that's the case, which is plausible, that means the mortality rate is actually substantially lower?

I agree. Bernie is "Bernie Free Stuff" to me PLUS, he seems to have an affinity for S. American and C. American socialists, like Ortega, Maduro, Castro and so forth. I work hard for what I have.

Exactly. Not 5 days ago, he was posting on here about how all this was phoney and he was going out to eat Chinese food on Sunday b/c Rush was telling him it was phoney.
