Trump instituted a Europe travel band and excluded the UK. People can fly (or take the train) into the UK and their passport won’t be stamped (Brexit rules don’t change until December) and then catch a flight to the US from London. Idiot.

SK has hit the S curve nicely.
Looks like Trump was right. This will likely be a 0.5% to 1% CFR all said and done the first year.
The information is out there in America. Americans are being vigilant and citizens and organizations are self-imposing restrictions, halting high risk events, cutting out unnecessary travel, etc. Information is free flowing and getting where it needs to go.
Good job America, stay informed, and rely on yourself to make good decisions as this unfolds, however it unfolds.

The U.S. simulations I suspect are a worst-case scenario where you continue as "Business As Usual". Obviously, with tonight's development with Industry, businesses, the government is not taking it as business as usual. The question will be what % of contact reduction is achieved. The more proactive, the more manageable and reduction in cases will be seen.

It was also reported tonight that thousands of illegal Chinese Nationals were trying to enter the US by way of the Southern border since Jan. 1. It didn’t say how they got to the border.
Furthermore, the southern border are breeding grounds for sickness and disease. The illegals have to be contained and that exposes border agents and others who live close by. It was pointed out that illegals don’t appear with ID papers, or medical histories.
Of course, libs will say to just allow them in and we can take care of those things later and anyone who disagrees is racist and xenophobic.

Furthermore, is that number higher than an average period? If it’s the same number as usual over a given time it’s hard to say there’s anything nefarious going on.
Lastly, Have you been to the southern border recently? Or driven within a radius of the CBP’s jurisdiction? You can hardly drive 15 miles without being stopped by CBP. Trump has gotten it pretty airtight, no pun intended, down there. The mountains are calling, and I must go.
