For the record, I hate single elimination tournaments. I also hate double byes, just not as much when we had one the last couple of years.

Not the prettiest softball game you will ever see but certainly an entertaining game.

The big question is what do the Shocks have left in the circle or is Addie just going to continue crushind the ball (although we need to get enough ducks on the pond to make that payoff.

The 1-10 in one run games record is maddening when you think if we win half of those we are maybe an NCAA lock and/or getting a double bye ourselves

Crowd was great today by the way. Get out and support this team tomorrow if at all possible.

The umpire blew that call. Ultimately they got it right. I could very distinctly hear the ball hit the dirt.

I can't say enough good things about the baseball team. They have been there both days and really brought the energy. After Tulsa scored 6 in the top of the fifth, the place was very quiet. The baseball team brought the energy to the fans, and I hope that helped give our Lady Shocks a little extra push. It was great seeing them there and giving some very vocal support. Not taking anything away from the softball team, they still had to execute, but baseball was in the fight as much as they could be.
            Go Shocks!

I give Green and Saal a lot of credit for encouraging support of other athletes

It would be pretty special if the girls could win the next two and be recognized at the baseball game later that afternoon with their trophy (and likely MVP trophy for Addie).

In NCAA softball, everybody has one entry and starters have one reentry. You can reenter to pitch in the same half-inning (if you were a starter), but you don't get a second set of warm-up pitches.

Thus, Chloe-Alison-Alex-Chloe works. Chloe-Alison-Alex-Alison does not work.

HCKB pulling out the illegal substitution card to save Lainee's at bat might have saved the season.

flyingMoose - We don’t need that negativity in here.
