Looked at the radar. Looks like the rain has moved through. Thought I was dyslexic for a minute. Not used to seeing the weather move from East to West.

LIked that Addison took her 2nd home run to right field. She needs to do more of that. Her 3rd time up she had a pitch on the outer half that she should have went to right with but popped out to center.
Lolo's 2nd grand slam was a mammoth shot that bounced of the light pole in right center about 40-50 feet up.

I just laughed hard at Lolo's 2nd HR. I'm not sure I've seen one crushed like that. Almost a Roy Hobbs moment where he struck the lights. That ball is landing 350-400 feet from home plate if the top of the light pole doesn't halt it.
Geez she crushed that one.

Erin comes back out to pitch the 3rd.
First batter flies out to Barnard in RF.
I looked away and I'm not sure if it was a dropped 3rd strike or a little dink in front of the plate, but batter two is out. Announcers were too busy talking about North Texas.
Garcia with a diving play in foul territory to end the inning on a popped up bunt attempt.
Neleigh HBP again to start the bottom of the 3rd.
Garcia reaches on what should be a throwing error by the SS. Slow roller forced a tough throw.
Lolo cannot get a 3rd grand slam in a row. And Memphis won't even bother pitching to her as she gets an IBB.
Lainee gets to bat with bases loaded an no outs. Krystin Nelson running for Garcia at 2nd. Lainee misses a grand slam as she crushes one foul down the left field line. She ends up with a line drive to left that gets by a diving LF and she clears the bases with a double. Another pitching change. 18-0 Shox
Wylie drops a single into LF. Runners on the corners for Syd.
Syd drops one over the SS into left center for an RBI single. Runners on 1st and 2nd for Addie. 19-0 Shox.
Addie will be put on with an IBB, which will load the bases for Lauren.
Lucas grounds out to 2nd, but scores a run. 20-0 Shox.
Zoe goes down swinging.
Neleigh grounds out sharply to 2nd.
Shox lead 20-0 after 3.Last edited by SubGod22; May 12, 2022, 02:23 PM.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

It is a little difficult to get too excited about this game. Memphis is just a very bad softball team. At this point the Shocks have outscored Memphis 58-4 this season of 17 innings.
This game is doing nothing to prepare the Shocks for what they are likely to face tomorrow.Last edited by 1972Shocker; May 12, 2022, 03:08 PM.

That blows.
