  • Sort of. This site has a couple of recent Horsholm highlight vids, some of which feature Asbjorn.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

This is what we like to see. We need tall, tough rim protectors that can score, rebound, play angry without fouling much, block shots, and look impressive at Airports.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

      • Like many of you on this board I am very glad we signed him and have him in the fold. Good find by the shocker staff with Coach Linstead leading the way on this one. Let's get greedy & find another Jewell.

        • I wonder if the Coaching staff can find a big man transfer and bring him next year to sit and have him available when the bigs graduate the year after.

I would guess that might happen in 2 years after the bigs that we have graduate

A redshirt will still most likely take another scholarship next year. A quality JUCO big man for 2018 could be just as productive without that scholarship in 2017. I'll say again, if Marshall thinks Hamilton can help WSU, RS him next year with the log jam of big men, then WSU has him as a junior in 2018 after the departure of Morris, Willis, Nurger, and Kelly.

We'll need all hands on deck for 2018-19 regarding big men. Our current group leaves after 2017-18 (next year). If a transfer, other than a grad student, transfers to WSU, you'll want him RS next year, ready to play for 18-19.

                • Yes, if EH wants to stay here and make an impact he should RS
and dedicate the RS season to defensive footwork and intensity
on D. Be versatile enough to be able to guard opposing wings,
PF's and even centers. He needs to make himself a defensive
stud to go along with his aggressive rebounding and take RK's
minutes once he is gone. THAT is his ticket to GM's heart and
                  the court.

Completely hypothetical, but I could definitely see Isaac Humphries of UK transferring after this year perhaps. Kentucky is slated to get quite a few big men, and it would push him down the depth chart. Seeing as he was considering us before, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up transferring here.

Completely agree. With everyone coming back, there is no indication that EH will get any more time next year. Playing a couple minutes a game is a complete waste of time, hopefully he sees it the same way.

I don't know what the coaching staff is thinking but when I see EH on the court, he just doesn't seem to have a "feel" for the game like he needs to. We always talk about the high BB IQ for our players and most of our players exhibit it (even John Robert, Zach B, and walk-ons in addition to FVV, Ron, Landry, Rashard, etc.). I think that our coaching staff can help most of our players gain a BB IQ (Shaq has improved, etc.). I just don't see it with EH. He has great athleticism, but lacks in this area imo.

                        • Looks like E already missed 2 years that he should have redshirted. I can't see him wanting to stay. The Big Dane will not redshirt. Somebody has to leave, redshirt or not. I expect us to sign a guy in the spring, and if that happens, two must give up scholarships. Prolly Wessel and EH.

You are getting good at the internet.

                            • With the way things are going right now, I would say that EH is the odd man out. So unless one of Marshall's top 10 (or 11) players decides they want to leave, then EH would be the choice.

Rauno made a huge jump on minutes and effectiveness from last year to this. Would love to see Eric in a similar situation.
