I'm guessing one of those two won't be here next year.

      • I don't see us losing a guard.

We very well may see a big move on.

Would make more sense if it was a Senior, but who knows.

We often discuss getting a graduated player to transfer in. That can go the other way, too. Morris and Frankamp are both academically in their Sr. year and could transfer out without having to sit a year.

Under current rules and 5 for 4, I believe he could.

                  • Somewhere there is a bylaw that says that if a player has already transferred previously, they are not allowed the same rights as someone that has been at one school their entire career. I don't remember where I saw it (probably somewhere on SN).

The transfer process has a complex mix of rules and regulations that determine when and where athletes can transfer and if and when they can receive a

Any thoughts on the possibilities of Nurger giving up hiss final season to go pro overseas. He's playing really well right now. And if he continue to do it maybe the best time to go.
                        Just a thought.

Any thing is possible. Rauno may have already indicated those intentions to 3G. Or maybe not. There are a lot of possibilities and no doubt 3G has made a list and is checking it twice and he may even be pretty certain about how this will play out. But he isn't going to show his cards any sooner than he absolutely has to as circumstances can and do change in the normal course of events. The only thing we know for sure is that it will be resolved one way or the other.

Typically, these things seem to work out okay for all involved.

that makes a lot more than half sense. Hamilton would be the first player on my list if Frankamp hadn't played himself into the conversation.

If you were the coach, and you looked at what you might get out of Frankamp next year and you looked at what you might get out of Hamilton in either of the next two years. Then you looked at losing every current scholarship player taller than 6'5" (except for McDuffie and Hamilton) in 2017. Then you looked at having Smith, Reaves, and the hyphenated name guy from Hutch JuCo as next year's PG's...do you think you might want to take a shot with Hamilton?

Frankamp has the rest of a long season to show that he's got something he hasn't shown yet. If he continues the way he's played in all but a couple of games this year, everybody would be best served by his finishing his career at Newman or Friends. Or maybe follow Wessel and get hired by a prestigious company and become very successful in a career in a town where everybody loves him.
