Zach Brown was in that boat, I believe. (maybe Hamilton, too, for that matter)

I know Hamilton signed and then "decided" to spend a year at Sunrise. He then had to sign again. I know Zach Brown went to Sunrise, but wasn't aware if he had signed before that or not.

I've heard the LOI has been signed.

          Is it even LOI season?

No. Runs from April 13 - May 18 this spring.

Since he committed during the winter, there is no binding element until he signs during that period this spring.

I guess there's no reason he couldn't have just signed it early to get it out of the way, but I am no expert on the matter.

We posted at the same time above. The NLI website does confirm what you already stated. Like I said, not something I am any sort of expert in, just reporting what I heard.

Yes, that's what Hamilton did, he took a prep year at Sunrise. Brown was different, he finished high school there.

He might have signed a piece of paper, but until NLOI signing period opens it holds no more weight binding him to WSU than his McDonalds receipt.

When is the permissible time period for signing an NLI?

You may sign an NLI only during the designated signing period. If you sign an NLI outside the appropriate signing period, the NLI shall be considered invalid. Presuming you are within the permissible signing period, you and your parent or legal guardian must sign the NLI and financial aid agreement within 7 days of the issuance date noted on the NLI signing page.

Brown was on the Sunrise post grad team. He finished high school at South Kent in Connecticut. He signed with us then went to Sunrise then signed with us again.

This is correct. He graduated high school at 17 and I believe the plan was always to go to a prep school after graduation due to his youth.

                          • After watching several video highlights. Austin can definitely fill up the rim. However in d-1 he won't be facing the straight legged bunnie feet and slow defenses I saw in some of the videos.

                              Did Blake Simmons graduate?
