How long was his recovery time from the other shoulder?

Glad it was deemed successful. Hope the recovery is uncomplicated and complete. Thanks for the update.

        You got that right!

          1. I wonder what his pull up jumper percentage is.
          2. Relentless.
          3. I wonder how he would do with his left-right crossover against Tekele.
          4. Court awareness.
          5. He sorta reminds me of Jake Odum.

I've seen the Jake Odum comparison thrown around quite a bit. Do you mean they look similar? I can't speak to the type of player Odum was in high school but I don't remember Indiana State Jake Odum being much of a scorer/shooter. I also don't remember Jake dunking like this kid can.

I'm just curious, what reminds you of JO? Who was a fine player, no doubt.

              1. Defeats triple team.
              2. One defender just gave up.
              3. More hair to have Pete Maravich look.
              4. I would like to see him redshirt to gain weight and strength and tighten up handles.
              5. I think I read that his 3 ball percentage is around 37%. Am I correct?
              6. Clever around the basket.
              7. It is astounding to me that he did not get more attention from at least lower division teams and jucos.

              • If he shoots 37% from 3 with his usage rate (which has to EASILY be over 50%), that's incredible.

What first drew my attention was some of his passes, particularly when he was in heavy traffic.

On another note, this kid has so much Karl Papke in his game it's eerie.
I love you ShoxLax, but Karl Papke?

He does have that Papke build.

Against an all black team that was very athletic.

                          2. He made one really nice pass, before I quit around the 4-5 minute mark.
                          3. On two occasions, passing was a better option. No condemnation here. He is young and still learning.
                          4. It would be interesting to know Coach Marshall's deep, inner thoughts about him.

I think that there are some good comparisons to Karl Papke and some differences. Similar in size and build. Both were/are athletic. Karl had good handles too but his crossover dribble and first step wasn't nearly as explosive.

Yes I know "revered" may be a bit strong, but I couldn't come up with a better descriptive term.
