The PG battle will be intense. If I were to place a wager today, I'd bet Frankamp, Shamet, and McDuffie, with Smith, Taylor, and Brown off the bench. Keyser is TBD. A lot can happen in the next 340 days.
If Smith's game translates well and quickly to the D1-WSU system, I can imagine a high scoring, speed/shooting team of Daishon at the 1, CF at the 2, LS at the 3, MM at the 4, and Hamilton or Nurger at the 5. The future is bright my friends.

Thursday night: 29 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, 4 turnovers and 2 steals. 6-9 from 3, 5-5 from FT line.
          11/28: 23 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 turnovers. 4-7 from 3, 1-1 from FT line.
          11/27: 26 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 turnovers and 2 steals. 5-5 from 3, 7-9 from FT line.

          Not too shabby...
I'm just not sure I'm ready to go from the unhuman/legendary assist to turnover ratios that Fred has provided for four years to just really good AT ratios (Smith's is 1.9/1 over those three games). In fact, after having Baker at pg, I know I'm not ready for it. I hope Fred gets 100% soon.

Taylor, Allen, Keyser, Brown, Kelly, Morris, Willis...lots of talent! I hope we start seeing it soon.

It's too bad that Landry was injured in addition to Fred. Landry has such a good BB IQ and scoring ability. We would have done better in Florida with him. With all due respect to stay and his biggest supporters (I consider myself a supporter), Landry is ready now for prime time and TT still isn't quite there.

Indeed! Landry and Markis look like an extremely talented freshman duo. They are skilled, long, and athletic!

Since he's a recruit, we can simply ignore this game and continue the hype train. Once he's a Shocker, we can start the, "not going to have a scholarship next year" talk when he's off.

May I speculate that our Coaching Staff has hit the jackpot with our 3 recruits for next Season? By that I don't mean they will all 3 start, but possibly be in our 8-10 rotation players.
