I completely agree. There's been nothing from Isaac or anyone associated with him--just one report that "per sources" he would commit when he visited. He visited, he didn't commit. I find the silence very interesting.

    • You weren't aware, AZ, that KC has been hired by Kentucky as a secret agent troll to make posts that will scare away WSU recruits who spend too much of their spare time carefully perusing Shockernet and searching for meaning? The Bluecats figured that since he was trolling anyway they might as well give him some direction and focus.

        • Deep breath everyone. Isaac will be a Shocker (eventually). Probably 2018 or19 (with the off chance of 2017 ie Conner)....but eventually. Marshall does very well with "transfers".

          • I don't think this is over yet, and his Kentucky offer probably hinges on him getting re-classified; if he remains a 2016, I imagine they withdraw the offer. On the other hand, I dunno why anybody would rag on a kid for accepting an opportunity to go to the most prestigious basketball program ever.

I wouldn't rag on the kid if he chose UK if that the route he wants his career to go. It all depends what his goals are, and what he wants to get out of the college experience. I would however rag on the system if it comes out that we could NOT get him through the NCAA clearing house, but UK can.

              • Both opportunities seem pretty special for Issac.
Go to UK and get a chance to play on a top 10 team, win the conference, potentially raise your NBA draft profile, and make noise in the tourney.
Or go to WSU and get a chance to play on a top 10 team, win the conference, be instantly beloved by the fans, have the best coach in the country, and make noise in the tourney.
                Choose wisely young man.

You don't think he would raise his NBA draft profile playing ball under Gregg Marshall at Wichita St.???

                      • Kentucky fans recruit by posting pictures of bodacious chicks holding up a sign with the recruit's name. On Shockernet fans anti-recruit by calling him a "clown" if he even _considers_ another school.

Just trying to think back when I was 17ish and which would be more effective.

Who might not necessarily be any better than you at COLLEGE basketball.

Maybe we should all get together and take a photo of ourselves in speedos holding up a sign with his name on it? That oughta do it.

                            • Hopefully the words of Heiar and Marshall carry more weight than the posts of Shockernet trolls and complainers. I suspect they do.

Meh. There was also a 25-page thread on Shockernet salivating over this kid's ability to turn the Shox into a national title favorite before Kentucky fans even knew he existed.
