Top recruits don't typically announce their destinations a year early, do they?

Even if he stays 2016, it's not really that early. Several recruits will announce during the summer.

edit: A quick check at Rivals shows 24 of their top 100 for 2016 have already declared.

Mid-year could mean mid-season.

I meant mid calendar year or mid basketball year. If it's mid basketball year, we would be toast for 2015, but if it means next week, we are still possibly right on schedule for some roof raising.

I'm hearing that everything PS says is true. Also that Isaac, like many 17 year old kids, has his mind 100% made up as to where he wants to go for about 3 days...then he becomes unsure.

I actually just had somebody on fb ask me if we had a "serious" chance with this guy if KU and UK both had him on their radar. I couldn't bring myself to type the 5 paragraph essay I thought on why we had a serious chance, so I just said "Yes. We have a very serious chance." Worst part is he's a member of Shocker Faithful, has Wu for his profile picture, and just graduated from WSU. I'm guessing based on his question, he doesn't follow college basketball very closely.
