You still have to live in that cold environment. That's why I don't expect Gregg to consider many jobs (if any) north of the Mason-Dixon Line. Being from South Carolina, he is also not a fan of cold weather. In his first year, after the snow game against UAB that was delayed because the snow impeded the officials from showing up on time, Gregg was amazed at our crowd that showed up for that but also displayed his dislike of snow in his postgame radio interview. "I don't know why people dream of a White Christmas."

I'd personally be surprised if he chooses WSU over Texas also. He even actually got to watch them win a football game this past weekend, and how often does that happen these days (even at home and in overtime against a conference bottom dweller that's kind of the Big 12-2 football equivalent of Drake basketball -- it's so bad in Austin this year that getting shut out by Texas was enough to get Charlie Weis fired); plus, he probably didn't need a jacket to do it.
Good luck to him whatever he decides; and especially, obviously, if he chooses WSU -- but WSU will be fine one way or the other.

Best wishes as well. It will interesting to see how Kerwin responds to becoming a PG (based on other reports, including his father). He'll have a young, talented backcourt competing for PT. As a freshman last year, PG Isaiah Taylor beat out fellow class of 2013, and more highly touted, PG Kendal Yancy-Harris (ranked #18 PG by ESPN) and Texas previously added #10 SG/#47 overall Eric Davis to the 2015 class.

Just think about the state of our program. One 4* has already committed to be a Shocker, and he is dang excited about it. We were in the final 3 for another 4*. Currently we have the best backcourt in the country. We are a top 11 program in the preseason rankings. AND depending on how our front court sorts out, we have a legitimate shot at the national championship. With the likes of Henderson, Shamet, and Taylor our backcourt looks to be solid for the future. Boy, it's really tough being an elite program and having near misses with 4-star recruits. Oh, and did I mention that there are more 4 stars in the recruiting pipeline for future seasons?
