  • Congrats to Mr. Roach and I wish to congratulate you on your choice of school, and I know you'll do very well; and good luck to you

-- as best as your interests don't conflict with our interests.

    • I'm not at all reluctant to wish Roach success, and I'm sure he'll have less occasion to wear a jacket in Austin than in Wichita. I'm familiar with both cities, and I sympathize with his concern about a school that has real winters -- it influenced my own college decisions as well (although I wasn't nearly so heavily recruited).

Anyway, he has a crowded backcourt to deal with at Texas, but that would be true here, too. So I hope he does well until he has a reunion on the court with the Shocker players. At that point, all bets are off, and then once the game is over and the Shocks have won, he can go back to being successful again.

      • Roach is dead to me. Bring on McDuffie.

                • Me too, Shurtz -- but if he had said yes sooner there might not have been a place for McDuffie, and I'm delighted with how things ultimately worked out. Good luck to Kerwin, and maybe somewhere along the line WSU will get to show him firsthand what he missed.

Shamet and Taylor have plenty of hops and hope to see them in our dunk contest. Shamet also gets up and down the court with awesome speed who also has a very su-weet outside shooting stroke.

This clip is awesome to the point he maybe could have grabbed a silver dollar on top of the backboard and left some change with the hang time. WoW~~!!! There used to be a player around this area named Paul Stovall that I heard could jump like this. Warren Armstrong did have had one of the best verticals of Shockers from times past.
