Here's the deal. FSF has done some homework on this new Shocker player. I have not seen him play but spoke with some eye-witnesses that have indeed watched him play. After processing my findings, I would like to offer some opinions which is what we do best on here.

What is the first word that describes what I heard? Warrior!!!! So this is what I think about him being ranked 247th. You can't measure heart and this young man plays hard every play, strives to win while playing his role, and I have a strong hunch he is still another Shocker recruit that smoothly fits our System that was flying under the radar and is very much under-ranked. He will help us on both sides of the court.

We waited and we waited. Now we know that about the only concern we had pending has just been addressed. Here is a player that will give his all on both sides of the court and do what is asked of him. We lost lots of players that played positions four and five. Mr. Carter will lead us at these 2 slots and Shaq will be back. Can u dig it?

When you don't sign 5 stars,then what can you possibly do to compete? Let's start with 3 names. Baker(he is a bad bad boy). Fred (my KU acqaintances not only dream but also worry about him), and Cotton (he is a defensive stopper and specialist that mess our foes stars up). Keep in mind. Mr. Cotton will be a Senior.

Now let's just say from there, our quality depth is scary good. Let me say this about that. Our overall depth could be the best ever in Shocker History? Yes, we will have lot's of new players that will be expected to play together and produce from jump street. Sleep well tonight and don't worry one iota. Shocker basketball is looking 'finer than a frog-hair baybay!!!!!!!.'

He is a 3 star, ranked #35 on centers? Does this sound better? Dunno, but whether I misunderstood his ranking or not, I predict this player was a solid catch for our Shocker Program from what I am hearing. 3G finds us sleeper recruits that are prototypes for our Program. Count it.

By the way. If anyone volunteers to give up their scholarship or decides with Coach that they are willing or able to give it to someone else, I'm all for it. But too many on here pick on Wessel as the one who should do it.

What if EW wasn't the hometown boy? He desperately needs to find his shot this offseason and not be an offensive liability.

He said that Zach was going to be contributing early. And the latest signee
Just needs to learn the system and will be a big contributor by valley time
Said he was very tough. Very physical plays through pain.
Will be great in the future He was very high on them both.
He was really excited about the latest recruit for the long term.

EW went to coach and said he wants to leave the team to focus on school. He's a smart kid and is thinking about life after college. Coach asked him to take the summer and decide then. Coach is hedging his bets and signed another player to fill the spot. Knowing if EW stays he is over the limit he has a plan to send Hamilton to Sunrise if needed. If its not needed then Hamilton redshirts as previously discussed and the new guy takes EW's spot.
