I want the players Coach Marshall gives 5* to, not the ones who get 5* because of media hype.

Just because a player is a 5* in the media does not mean he wouldn't be a 5* to HCGM. Mum knows Marshall isn't going to take a media 5* just because. He's going to take him because he's a 5* to Marshall. That is when everyone will take strong notice and could have stronger impact for the program, the athletic department, WSU as a whole, and the community.

Back to basketball I won't go to the petty point that most of the kids on here are going, but I will say coach Marshall and staff are on a roll and the way things are going for the university right now, we really couldn't ask for more. I know a lot of people think the ratings on prospects from 2 stars to 5 stars are overrated and that it's about being coached up, I agree but no one on here can tell me that if Marshall was able to land some 5 star guys what it would do for the team and community. Sometimes u forget this is a basketball forum as bad as some people on here act,nag,bicker, and debate meaningless facts. We all call ourselves "shocker fans" well let's be that and not pay attention to the childish and petty banter.

Eeeeasy there. Nothing implied, simply a question. That's the problem with an internet board, one's voice inflection is not heard unless clear comments like yours is added (uhhh and the caffeine).

Many times I also find that if one does not "like" your post, say they agree and add, or say "in addition", that a post as a reply may seem as a rebuttal or that one missed the point. I thought that with a "Marshall" 5* recruit, team ball, not a ball hog, welcomes hard practice and tough minded defense was implied, so I missed the point of your reply. No biggie.

This was posted on twitter yesterday, so it is anticipated that he will announce his decision today. I have not seen anything about the thime of the announcement.
