It always surprises me when a midwestern school manages to extract a guy from Alabama that a home state school -- really, any of three, considering that UAB takes basketball seriously -- actively recruits. With Grant almost certainly on the hot seat, though (and probably even more so if Bruce Pearl jacks up Auburn as quickly as he's been known to do). who knows?

Dazon Ingram reviews Alabama official visit, in-home visits with UAB and Wichita State

"Ingram enjoyed spending time with Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall, who he says has done "a good job."

"While on his visit Alabama coaches asked him if he'd be willing to commit on a visit, but he indicated he'd like to take all five of his official visits. He plans to visit Wichita State this weekend, UAB Oct. 9-10 and Houston on a yet-to-be determined weekend. All four of the schools have made the trip to Coastal Alabama this weekend to conduct in-home visits with the talented prospect."
