Watcher where do u get that logic, talent breeds success so if we have the oppertunity u go for it while keeping an eye on the scholarship limitation. The sign em all mentality has never been a mentality of mine so make sure u have your facts straight before making a comment like that, secondly whatever coach and staff are doing I trust. Obviously it has been working out for him and the university.

Peace be with you, mum. I'll agree with you on this: whatever Marshall and his staff are doing has been working big time.
The man knows his numbers, too, so whenever he ends up with what seems to be an extra commitment I never worry, because it always works out -- just as he most likely knew all along that it would.

I have full confidence that if GM had the opportunity to sign an additional 5 recruit and an additional 4, that somehow, someway he would work it all out.
That's why he makes the big bucks and that is part of the reason he is so successful.

UAB's basketball madness event:
"However, it was a high school student who received the biggest recognition from the crowd.
Theodore point guard Dazon Ingram, considered the state's top recruit in the class of 2015 by many, was on hand and was greeted with chants of 'We want Dazon' from the crowd at one point. The 6-4, 190-pounder has dwindled his final list down to UAB, Alabama, Wichita State and Middle Tennessee St. "

Edit: Pogo, I also just noticed your post above, and you hit it on the head with your observation to mum, "when you post... you like everyone and want them all. I'm pretty sure they are acknowledging your enthusiasm..." Absolutely -- mum is the undisputed king of enthusiasm.

On second thought, never mind."Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future."

Back to basketball I won't go to the petty point that most of the kids on here are going, but I will say coach Marshall and staff are on a roll and the way things are going for the university right now, we really couldn't ask for more. I know a lot of people think the ratings on prospects from 2 stars to 5 stars are overrated and that it's about being coached up, I agree but no one on here can tell me that if Marshall was able to land some 5 star guys what it would do for the team and community. Sometimes u forget this is a basketball forum as bad as some people on here act, nag, bicker, and debate meaningless facts. We all call ourselves "shocker fans" well let's be that and not pay attention to the childish and petty banter.
