    • I think Hamilton is the biggest "upside" forward that Marshall has signed out of high school.

      • I bet he gains about 20 pounds in his first year and another 10-15 in his second year.

I think 6-8, 225 would be right for his skill set.

          • @iAM_Trey3: Anyway, hit the 250 lb club on bench today. Took me to long to get here.

with the speed that some kids grow, if he's improved his bench to 250 lbs. already, he could come in at 6'9 and 220-225 already next year. This would make him physically ready to compete with all comers. His physical potential could be off the charts and it just comes down to mature is he and prepared to compete all out every play. This will be FVV, Baker, and Cotton's job this summer. Teddy Hawkins will be glad he's gone.

For a recruit, those are some promising numbers.

A guy coming into the program at around 6'9" and 220ish with a bench at 250 already has me pretty excited anout our forward spots. It had never occurred to me before that one of our current recruits might just grow.

Now someone just needs to go find out that Shaq is growing, too!

From what I saw of Shaq at the post-season awards celebration he is not growing in terms of height, but he is losing some unneeded baggage which should make him quicker and improve his stamina without hurting his strength.

                        • Maybe Hamilton isn't as much as a shoe in to RS as many of us thought! I like the way our post players are shaking out. DC, Shaq, Glass, Bush, Kelly, and Hamilton all fighting in the off season for playing time. I would say as of now you have to think DC, Glass, and Shaq are almost locks to play good amount of minutes. Bush, Kelly, and Hamilton will be slugging it out in practice to make the rotation. Whoever is lagging behind gets the RS

                              • I'd say DC and Glass are the only PT locks. Two + of the remaining four will get a lot of time as well and Hamilton is still the least likely to be in that group, but it could happen.
