The website said it was a very down night for Chipola, and they got scoring from some players that usually don't score that much. Flowers, though, had a good night, with 15 points and 12 rebounds. They got some scoring from some freshman players. They only shot 43%, 13% on 3's, and 55% on Free Throws, but their defense was good.

I saw 2 assists in the first 15 minutes of the second half before I lost the feed. They must not have been taking very good stats.

They were wearing visitor jerseys and the conventional wisdom is that the official scorer is pretty frugal about crediting the opposing team with assists.

Maybe those of you could help us put in perspective how the guards we have signed such as Murry and Kyles now rank. Has their rating improved since we signed them? Next, how is their ranking, according to the experts, compare to like Jordan Cyphers whom we did not sign, and Beckham and Soderberg that we are still actively recruiting? Just curious now that the High School Seasons are mostly completed.

I am wondering, since the MVC tourney is over, is if the coaches are in the Office today planning recruiting, or whether a couple are already on the road to talk with possible recruits.

Does anyone know what 'recruiting services' the coaching staff uses online?

I think most staffs keep their eyes on a number of different services to make the best judgement they can with that info. I'd expect that at least a couple of the coaches are out recruiting somewhere.

I've never responded to the original question of this thread. I think educated guesses can now be made. Seven looks like the number to this year's recruiting class to me. In that number, I count E.O. (or a replacement for him) since he never used his scholarship offer this year. In other words, I expect two non senior players with us this year not to be back, and for the coach to fill all available scholarships.
