They have his name on them ... who else's shoe line could that be?

(On a random note, I felt really old when I realized we've reached the point where kids born after Shaq went to the NBA are going to college ...)

      • I hope Morris is still growing. 6-10 seems perfect.

        • Do any of you know if the staff considers him a 4 or a 5?

To my knowledge and understanding, based off of his physical skill set & his HS stat sheet, a 5 (center) .. but anyone else here in the "know", feel free to chime in.

            • As always it's going to depend on who he can guard. With all the 4 guard looks we go up against, I would think Shaq would spend a majority of the time at the 5.

              • The "stretch 4" is becoming quite common, and Shaq is NOT a stretch 4.

During the tourney, he tweeted that he was having neck and back pain, which has historically meant he was growing (again). Fingers are crossed...:good:

What do I see? A lot of Carl H (under the glass), some EO (shot blocking) and some JT Durley (offense). Bring it on!!

                    • His extremely large girth will make him a very difficult match up with his back to the basket. I think that he's a 5 and while Durley pictured himself as a pretty boy 5 (at least early in his career), I don't think that Shaq views himself like that. He's going to take the ball to the rim every opportunity.

We will have multiple bigs that when given the rock inside, will know what to do and do so with an exclaimation point. I am very offensive minded. With Shaq, he not only brings that to the table for us but also has an applitude on the Defensive side in which Mr. 3G will be watching 'like a hawk at dinner time.' Can you imagine Shaq after Kerry gets him in the weight room? Hellllll-ooooo!!!

With the upgrades in recruiting we are witnessing, we may have a Freshman come in here some fine day and ask the starters who has to take a seat on the bench on his behalf. It has happened at 21st and Hillside to the Bookends and it very may well happen again to this team that played in the Final 4 last Season some day? Let's just hope they open up at least a practice or two that we can watch our beloved Shocks 'duke it out' for some earned playing time in the confines of a 3G session that is not for the weak of heart.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

So you mean I'm still growing?

                              • Can't wait to see Shaq play. Love how quickly he can get up and dunk the ball. He has a chance to be very good here as long as he keeps working hard. Lots of natural ability, one of the best looking big man recruits we have had in a long time!!
