Shockers were at Indian Hills open gym yesterday. So was Marquette. Maybe its not over but we were probably looking at somebody else as there are more future D-1 players on that team. Dustin Hogue from NY is one.

It apparently was Hogue we were watching. According to Rivals the Shockers offered the 6-6 SF. He has now verballed to Iowa State. Other offers he was considering were from Washington State, Florida State, Texas Tech and Detroit.

I don't know what he is thinking or if we would still have a chance but at one time, it appeared like we were being seriously considered by McKay. Additionally, I don't know if he could be eligible next year but if he could and would have two years of eligibility, he'd be a good one. He is a great rebounder and athletic post presence at 6'8 and 240lbs.

Hope the Shox get back in on him,.......if his leaving Marquette wasn't for reasons other than it wasn't a good fit.

If he sits out this year (transfers at semester)and next, he'll only have one year of eligibility. I didn't know if a release could be given or not.
