I believe I read that brother Andrew already had offers from North Carolina and Kentucky.

Instant offense from Wiggins + Marshall offensive system in place= let's start the season tomorrow!

Instead of 6'5" and 6'3" running the lanes, as good as they were, now Wichita State has 6'6" and 6'8" running the lanes like they mean it.

        And per goShockers.com

WICHITA, Kan. - Head Coach Gregg Marshall has announced the signing of Nick Wiggins to a National Letter-of-Intent to play basketball at Wichita State beginning with the 2012-13 season.

Time to change thread title from "COMMITTED" to "SIGNED, SEALED & DELIVERED".

          • Reading his tweets.....any chance we could have a Steve Nash/Danny Ainge matchup in the summer games?

FVV going head to head with Steve Nash......this is almost starting to get out of hand.

It's almost to the point that I am thinking we have a decent shot at his younger brother. And it's not a hope...it's an expectation.

            • Appears Nick is a selective and effective 3-point shooter (averages 3 attempts per game, hitting 40% of those attempts).

He also appears to get to the line frequently (6 attempts per game).

Can't wait to see his game in black and gold.

That's the part I like most. We haven't had a player in a while that will attack consistently and get to the line. Toure' and Joe would have their moments, but then they'd also have a number of games where they wouldn't attempt a single FT or just 1 or 2. I'm glad we have a couple of slashers that will create plays and get to the line.

No biggy. 3G is 1 for 1 recruiting against Kentucky.

I was leaning that way before, but after watching Kentucky and other elite programs with their "one-and-done"'s, I have decided that JUCO transfers filling a need is a great way to stay competitive every year. I now prefer to think of them as "two-and-through."

                      • How about we give a little more attention to Nick who has actually signed to play here?

I tried to tell people that a page ago.

So I'll say it for the new off topic, topic, that started up. If you want to talk the merits of how many juco players a team should have, make a thread about it in the basketball forum.

                            • I think we should have Nick Wiggins come play for us next year.
