I see another, or should I say different, big man in the Shox future..."I discovered surfing, which I absolutely fell in love with. That feels good and kind of keeps your body aligned, so does the salt water." - Anthony Kiedis
"I'm not worried. Are you worried? You shouldn't be. Sleep well tonight."

I know we all go off topic in lots of threads, but if you guys want to talk Scholarships, someone make a new thread in the basketball forum, it would actually probably be a good idea. Also if you guys want to talk about Andrew as a serious recruit, and post videos, etc. someone make a thread for him too. Thanks everyone.

Great news! Wiggins will fit in beautifully at the 3 (maybe 2). Early at the 3 (maybe 4) and same for Green and Hawkins. I didn't even mention PG extrodinair Van Vleet or Henry U. Serious length and athleticism on it's way in to match with the strength and experience of Armstead, Williams, Mitchell, Baker, Wessel, White, Hall and Orukpe!
I count SIX Juco AAs that HCGM has brought in over six years (Smith, Ragland, Hall, Mitchell, Early, Wiggins). Not sure if Mantas was an AA.Livin the dream

Who doesn't start now? Just think of the potential lineups out there.

I could do this all day. And I haven't even touched on Baker, FVV, Green or Hawkins. This definitely gives us the opportunity to RS one or both of Green/Hawkins.
It's going to be one hell of a season.

These are the kind of comments I love hearing from top quality recruits:
Before last week, Nick Wiggins wanted to visit Wichita State and then take two more visits before deciding his basketball future.
It didn’t take long for Shocker coaches and players to change those plans. Wiggins, a 6-foot-6 sophomore wing, orally committed to WSU and canceled plans to visit Baylor and Oregon State.
“I didn’t need to take other visits,” he said. “I want to be a Shocker. I felt really comfortable, like it’s a family. (I liked) the support system from the coaches and the players.”
Wiggins averaged 17.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists for Wabash Valley (Ill.) College. He plans to sign a letter of intent Wednesday, the first day of the signing period. He credited WSU assistant coach Greg Heiar with doing most of the recruiting work. He connected with Shockers Demetric Williams and Malcolm Armstead and former Shocker Joe Ragland during his visit. Then coach Gregg Marshall closed the deal by convincing Wiggins he could make the most of his two seasons. With a short stay, Wiggins wants to play, improve and win.
“He’s coached juco players and he understands my situation,” Wiggins said. “He’s a winner.”
Kudos to the Coaches and players for their work in landing a stud. Welcome to Shocker Nation Nick (Too Quick).
