Recruiting Questions

Here's the deal. Whew!!! The Shocks finished the Season with an exclaimation point!!!!!!! We thought we might lose our Coach and then did lose a couple of his assistants. Through it all, we have had a recruiting Season that sparkles. We have been cussin and discussing about a 6'8" mystery recruit, and he is not one of the bigs from Sunrise. So who is he? Somebody knows if this player exists, but I am in the dark on this one. It reminds me of many moons ago when we wondered "who shot JR?" Yikes!
Even so, with this last ship, we can be as selective as an aristocrat at a 'five and dime.' As good as this recruiting Season has been, the next one needs to be HCGM best of his elite best. Losing 5 Seniors, 2 Seasons back to back, is a hit that could leave a mark. It is time to develop the players we have and reload like a rock star. We might not win 29-30 games, but let's hope we take care of some unfinished business and keep this black and yellow turnip truck moving forward.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

I have a good feeling about next year! I think Stutz is going to have his best season, and Orukpe will be improved. Carl 'The Beast' Hall will hit us like a breath of fresh air. Jake 'Motor' White will be there to back Hall up. Ede and Tekele will show us their upsides, and Baker will be there to work our guys hard.
All of our veterans will be there to help lead the way, and I think we will be in 1st or 2nd when conference ends next year.

Does it seem like the recruiting effort is more intense, more effective and more successful than it has been in the past several years.
In other words, are the Shocker coaches turning the Shockers into some kind of perennial power house.
I am usually pretty reluctant to go crazy with optimism, but I'm so excited.
