Remember the day that HCGM signed on as our Coach? He told us he would recruit anywhere and everywhere to bring in a recruit that he thought that could help our Program. At another juncture, HCGM said he only recruits players that he believes could be a starter for our Program. Not only can our Coach move the X's and O's, he also has been very impressive as a recruiter.

Here's the deal. FSF has met EO. What a quality student athlete!!! HCGM coaches him hard----very hard. EO is working just as hard. He fullfilled a very difficult role on the pine this Season with limited playing time but yet stayed focused. Thus, Rome was not built in a day, a month, or a year. My educated guess and layman opinion is that EO will receive every opportunity to shine as a Shocker.

Royal Shock, from the get go, made mention that he thought EO will prevail as a Shocker as an upperclassman. The Doc will NOT give up on him. HCGM is monitering each and every Shocker and has been upbeat on EO as of late. Thus, I have been calling out for our Twin Towers many moons ago to come together. This coming Season will bring this dream to fruition. :poster_eo: Now THAT is what we have all been talkin about and I STILL BELIEVE in EO and THAT is my final answer.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

No, but if he's recruiting some for the 12-13 season, he should have started the process of getting them out 1-2 years ago.

I predict the announcements later this week, after the Wednesday night banquet. It seems to be the way it is done most often here. I have no doubt that Hamilton is gone, and I believe TRich has made his decision, one way or the other. My guess? I believe he will choose to move on, but that is not based on any knowledge, only a gut feeling. I'd love him to stay if he feels good with it, but if he chooses to move on, I wish him happiness and success in his life.

The difficulty with TRich deciding to move on is that he will lose a year of eligibility since he has already redshirted. I don't think juco is an option now that he's been here two years. He would have to go D2.

I don't know, since he redshirted, he still has 3 years and may be able to spend one at a JUCO. I'm not 100% on how all that works.

If he were to leave, he would could go to juco for one year. Calvin Walls did this some time ago and was quite successful after his return to D-I.

                  2) People were more content for offensive purposes when Durley was in the game, so they have a tendency to want another center, and keep Stutz as the backup. Orukpe is the biggest question mark our program has ever had in 20 years, noone knows how it will turn out. He could go from a 4 year bust to a superstar.
My son and I were always "happy" when Durley had foul trouble because we felt that Stutz didn't get enough time and got pulled by HCGM for things for which Durley didn't get pulled. I felt HCGM played favorites (e.g. Durley over Stutz, Murry over Kyles) a lot.
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:

I'll give you Murry over Kyles, but I can't say at any point over the last 3 years I have ever thought JT got any kind of preferential treatment over Garrett.

There are reasons that JT and Toure started over Garrett and David, and I highly doubt it had anything to do with "playing favorites".

Isn't today the first day of the spring signing period?

With Ede's verbal, we are full on ships again now unless other developments occur. I still think Toure' and Kyles could start many of the games at the 2 and 3. If so, it will be interesting as to who my redshirt of the incoming Frosh. I am thinking one of them will. If indeed another ship opens, my first choice would be one more solid big unless we just get a shot at a very very good player of whom I am not aware of.

The summer trip will be invaluable to blend in and establish the new with the old earlier than expected. Maybe, we will be as deep as last Seasons team? I wonder who was first on our target list between Ede and Guy? If it was close, I like the Freshman route although I was intrigued with Guy.

Is J.T.'s cousin still in the picture?

He is the great, big kid, who lives in Houston.

                              He is a 2012, I think.
