Shocks lead 178.5 to 171 with the 5k and 4x400 left. Shocks need to pick up 3 more points in the 5k than Houston does. And that is possible. The most Houston can score in the 4x100 is 10 points. I expect Houston to win the 4x400 so if he Shocks can lead more than 10 points after the 5k they should be the men's team champions.

I think they still get 10 for first. There is just no point awarded for 8th. I see Houston finishing with 180.5 points. However, it is possible for the Shocks to score 0 in the relay if they DNF or are DQ'd.

I think the Shocks need 2.5 points between the 5k and the 4x400 relay.

Had Tanner Brown not been injured the Shocks would probably already have wrapped this up.

We have 3, maybe 4 guys that could score. Trey Rios, Clayton Duchatscheck, Ben Flowers and Jackson Caldwell. Clayton won the 3000 steeplechase yesterday. Ben Flowers and Trey Rios finished 4th and 5th in the 10k on Friday.

I don't think they realize there are only 7 teams in the relay. Technically, what the Shocks need is 1 point plus they need to finish the relay race without being DQ'd.

At least the Shocker gold is easy to find in this mass of runners.
