HCGM had some interesting perspective on the win.

Obviously, he feels better about the team than most of us do right not.

Honestly. With Turner making everything he shoots, we had to make big shots down the stretch.
We out rebounded them.

And Garrett Stutz, everyones favorite player to hate...

I'll complain about the 3 rebounds from a 7 footer. 8)

But he did play very well otherwise.

Even the 3 rebounds doesn't look so bad considering he only played about 9 minutes. His offense was great considering how little playing time he actually had tonight.

The stats I saw only had him for 2 (1 off/1 def).

I suppose you could argue that we needed a close win before league play begins. Lord knows there will be a ton of disgusting 68-63 type slugfests in Valley games.

Tulsa is down this year and we need to wipe the floor with them at IBA. I am pretty sure Stutz's 3 single handedly sold an extra 500-1,000 tickets for that one. Should be a lot of fun.

There is not a game remaining on our schedule that I don't think we should win. I realize we probably will stumble a few times, but really, our remaining opponents are pretty much pure crap. Winning 18 of our next 20 would be acceptable and should be viewed as realistic.

Terrifying, ugly win tonight. But a win nonetheless.

Garret was at the elbow when Toure started his drive, he can't just stand there or he gets in Toure's drive so he slides to the three point line cause his guy will be the guy helping.
