Trust me, ShockerFever, you've looked like an idiot in all 11,261 posts.
You have read them ALL? I admit, I'm on here alot reading posts but I bet I have even missed some of them! :D
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!
I say player of the game is David Kyles. He made one of the threes... but i give him the nod for shutting down turner on those last possessions. Great D...
"Coach Marshall,We will be at Creighton at least 15 hours in advance!"
CGM--->"Hell yea, and we'll beat their ass."
It wasn't pretty, but I thought the boys played pretty darn hard all night. Several of those 3's by LSU were heavily guarded. Not a perfect game by any means, but if the Shox play that hard every game they will win plenty.

The grit the team showed at the very end was a step in the right direction in terms of simply finding a way to win. We were the better team, and anything less than a victory would've been unacceptable.
I suspect that LSU wasn't as bad as they looked in the first half, but not as good as they looked in the second half. While I never thought we'd end up winning by 17, I didn't expect this to be a nail biter like it was.
A win is a win. Time to move on to IBA and take care of business and prepare for the Valley of Death. (Or maybe the Valley of sickness this year, as I'm not too sure how 'deadly' anyone is unfortunately)
