We did not play that bad.
Honestly. With Turner making everything he shoots, we had to make big shots down the stretch.
We out rebounded them.

And Garrett Stutz, everyones favorite player to hate...

Who can complain with that?

I'll complain about the 3 rebounds from a 7 footer. 8)

But he did play very well otherwise.

He only played about 10 minutes I believe. Had 4 fouls also I think. I wonder if the book on Garrett is to get the ball to his man and attackthe basket. He is not a shot blocker and generally not as quick as whoever he is guarding.

He's not very good on the defensive end. I was talking more about the offensive side of the ball. Should have been more specific. I agree with you. Garrett is too slow to be effective on defense against anyone that isn't as slow and plodding as he is.

I agree Stutz isn't the greatest of shot blockers. But he did come into tonight as our leading shot blocker at 1.1 per game. And he hasn't even played the minutes some of the other players have. He is getting better at it.

DK took 8 of his 10 shots from 3, mostly fade aways. With his athletic ability, speed & quickness, he HAS to be more drive oriented at times. He lives & dies with the fade away 3. Like dogs that chase parked cars...just sayin.
